    Looks like it's pushing through.

Anyway, I personally doubt if it's going to get cancelled because of so much money is at stake... not to mention the concert is a personal project of the SM owner.

No obscenities or nudity, Pasay tells Lady Gaga

The Pasay City government on Friday said it would not allow obscenities or nudity in the upcoming concert of global superstar Lady Gaga at the SM Mall of Asia next week.

Pasay City Mayor Antonio Calixto also formed an inspection team to "monitor" Lady Gaga's concert scheduled on May 21 and 22, radio dzBB's Roland Bola reported Friday afternoon.

Calixto was quoted in the report as saying one of the provisions in the permit issued to the concert organizers was that there would be no obscenities, including nudity or anything offensive.

Earlier Friday, personalities affiliated with the Catholic Church and a "religious" youth group urged the Pasay City government not to allow the concert.

Election lawyer Romulo Macalintal and former Manila mayor Jose Atienza Jr. sought an audience with Calixto to disallow the concert because of what they claimed was the singer's "anti-Christian" songs.

On the other hand, a group of youths allied with former Rep. Benny Abante held a rally at City Hall.

The youths from Biblemode Youth Philippines particularly scored the controversial singer-artist for her song "Judas," which they said mocks Jesus Christ and promotes Judas Iscariot as a protagonist.

Meanwhile, Calixto said he expects his inspection team to keep watch over the concert and report any instance of obscenity during the event. — LBG/HS, GMA News

Oo nga, di gaya ng cranberries concert, hindi na-sold-out. Sabagay mas sikat naman si Gaga.

Prayer vigil held vs Lady Gaga concert | ABS-CBN News

    Typical "religious" thinking.

Force what they think upon all people.

Ignoring "let the one without sin throw the first stone".

Given the concert is going to happen on May 22 and 23 ... and today is already Friday and 430pm, it is doubtful the anti-GAGA groups would get a judge to sign a TRO to stop the concert.

It would be interesting to see how many foreign tourists would be attending this concert. I hear many of the fans from Korea and Indonesia bought tickets for the Manila shows because their shows were cancelled.
