Yup, though in that case nga need talaga palitan pangalan. Itogn EB sa GMA kapag hindi pinalitan pangalan hindi oobra yan.

They need a new name if they want to reformat the show because what TVJ was doing cannot be replicated. Yung 3 na yun ang EB!

Joey De Leon and Tito Sotto are just deadweights for the show. Bihira na nga lang mag appearance ang mga yan pero ang laki pa ng sinasahod. Sabi sa interview diba 30M php per year daw kay joey. So tama lang ang decision ng TAPE na forced retirement para sa dalawang ito. At kahit pumasok man sila, wala na natatawa sa comedy nila at wala rin sila halos ambag sa hosting. Cant juice out any value anymore from these 76 year old comedians.

I think that's what the Jalosjos were thinking. Makakatipid sila pag inalis nila yung TVJ. But they didn't expect na magre resign din yung mga co-host at ibang staff. Now they are left with nothing.

Yung JoWaPao ang irreplaceable sa eat bulaga especially sa sugod bahay segment. It will be extremely hard to find another group of comedians na ganun kaswak ang chemistry with each other saktong sakto ang batuhan ng jokes, at magaling sa improv comedy na pang masang pinoy at tambay. Pero si Joey De Leon dapat mag retire na talaga. Nabasa ko nga pinipilit na lang daw tumawa ng mga co-hosts niya sa jokes niya during the show dahil nakaka awa na raw.

According to tito Sotto ang balak eh si jose, Wally at Allan K gusto ng mga Jalosjos gawing mainstay. They want TVJ to be 3 times a week lang. Tapos yung ibang host tanggalin na. Cost cutting. Hindi pumayag TVJ, instead they suggested a temporary cut of 10% on salary across the board until year end. Di naman pumayag mga Jalosjos.

Meron nga. I think he cheated on LJ Reyes na live in niya for several years for Yen Santos. Pareho naman low life si Yen, kaya bagay sila, word is Yen was one of Chavit's kept women and they even have a child together. Any young woman na papatol sa lalaki old enough to be her grandfather, chavit singson at that, is definitely trash in my book.

Pero yung LJ Reyes naman ang dami din panganay. Ang gulo ng buhay ng mga showbiz. Seems like broken people attract each other.

According to GMA news, nag pakita ng "EB is alive" banner ang Eat Bulaga. Monday daw sila mag start ng live. I wonder if this is true. Gusto ko sana panoorin kung totoo kaso wala kami local channels. [emoji16]

I watched a portion of the show. Ang corny. hahaha! I'm an older millenial, mas matanda lang sakin ng konti ang Eat Bulaga. Namimigay ng iphone 14 e!

Magandang test case ito. Sa tingin ko ok lang na wala si TVJ at madalang lang naman ang appearance nila pero si JoWaPao baka ma miss ng mga fans.

If I were in school, I'd love for my professor from different subjects to discuss the case of Eat Bulaga (Law, Sociology, Management, Ethics etc)

I think that's why EB is successful, parang pamilya talaga and it's definitely not just the hosts that make is successful, it's the people behind the scenes as well

I understand where TVJ is coming from, yung wala silang contrata, gentleman's agreement. My grandparents and parents engaged in a lot of "transactions" like that. I think with the older generation, born 1900s to boomer age iba talaga values nila. Yung Gen x and younger like the new management of EB, they applied their values to EB, they tried to do a revamp, shake things up, e that's not how the show worked naman. I've been an employee for more than a decade and I've seen that happen all the time, new management takes over and decides to change everything, messing things up more in the end. They should have just followed the lead of their Dad, wag makialam

I know TVJ can't use the name EB since kung Oo, sinabi na sana nila na lilipat EB sa ibang TV station.

Punto ko lang is kahit pa EB name niyan kung wala yung 3, hindi yan papatok sa masa. Haligi na ng showbiz yan, EB=TVJ, TVJ=EB. Pero sila TVJ can re-create their magic kasi yung style at kasikatan naman nila ang gusto sa kanila ng manonood eh. At least for the time being. The current generations and the next gen might not find them appealing anymore. So most probably pa-decline na din talaga show nila.

TVJ magic is simple..they are generous in giving prizes while the management want to simply cut cost in order to maximize their profit

naturally the viewers will go for the show that gives better prizes
