Safe with no ***, no gory weirdness (ala Spongebob) and funny?

    Modern Family, given... great series

The Middle: definitely recommend, almost as funny as Modern Family, series about a suburban family of "losers" who try their best to get by.

Malcolm in the MIddle: if you can get it on DVD or download

Big Time Rush: Nickelodeon, live-action comedy about a boy band, good scripting, lots of slapstick, but no violence. Yeah, boy band, but it doesn't take itself seriously, and makes fun of the music business.

Victorious: On Nick after BTR. Kid likes it. The scriptwriting is very good, but I don't like the acting of the lead (Tori Justice). Okay enough to watch because of the scripts, but some of the characters are jerks, and some of the episodes veer into "adult" situations... like the one where they spoofed "The Breakfast Club" and did a comedy skit with tacos where they acted like they were high on marijuana. Not something you want to explain to kids.

Phineas and Ferb: Disney Channel, cartoon, but a lot of adults watch it. Funny music and in-jokes for adults, still simple enough for kids to watch

Not really much family friendly stuff on TV nowadays...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
