it is still the "marketability" that counts...and the winner should be the "entire package"...otherwise the AI producers will not opt for the "voting system"...AND if its really a "pure singing talent" search, then those three judges shouldnt be there, instead, the likes of whitney houston or josh groban or aretha franklin or kung sino pa man na talagang karapatdapat na judge ang nakaupo..but its not.

question lang...is it an ownership??? will the winner be considered "owned" by AI producers therefore pag may mga music producers na interesado sa talent nila they get paid too???then that is why....shempre dun sila sa kung sino talaga ang bebenta.

if i am a music producer...i wouldnt gamble my money to the likes of melinda and lakisha..considering na their styles of singing had been there for the longest time...I BELIEVE in their talents...no amount of questions to that..
pero nakakasawa na yung style nila...its "black" all over...kung producer ako, i want fresh, raw, someone that can still be honed, someone that can really experiment at may hatak talaga..someone who will really sell..

now, jordin is very good...pero she has yet to find her own style and techniques..at 17 she cant move onstage...she's stucked living in the shadows of the songs she chooses..and feels awkward pag di nya gamay yung kanta...at 17 this is understandable.

with blake naman...he enjoys everything..kaya nageenjoy din yung mga bumuboto sa kanya..wise guy...kahit na tawaging shang "beatbox" or what..he sticks to that kasi alam nya may "crowd na sya"..the thing with this guy is...he can move onstage..at the same time he has this "haunting voice" once he sings ballad..he is more versatile than jordin..

so my forecast...at ok rin kahit hindi magkatotoo..its going to be blake..

OMG you guys are so mean, shrek, karding, horse, elepante. hehe bad bad bad (palo ko kayo sa pwet).

I guess, like what most people think, sawa na ang tao sa ganuong style ni Melinda. But I agree she is a very good singer. And i don't think wala kukuha sa kanya na producer. Mag rerelease den yan ng album.

It is about time that someone unique will win AI. Blake all the way! Pero if Jordin wins, okay lang den. BUt malaks kutob ko baka si Blake manalo. I had my eye on him since his audition. Breath of fresh air siya sa AI.

Re: Philippine Idol: Hindi masyado impressive yung mga contestants dun. Panget pa sound system nila kaya panget pakinggan mga songs. Mas magagaling pa yung sumasali sa contest wherein Regine Velasquez is the host.

    Humor me here.

Going by this logic, siguro dapat nagpasabi na ang mga producers sa auditions pa lang:

Applicants possessing an African-American heritage, and whose musical style leans toward R&B and soul music, need not bother entering this competition. The producers of the show foresee that it will be a difficult marketing position if such a performer should yet again emerge as the winner of this season's American Idol. We hope for your understanding, profitability is the bottom line.

They probably just didn't want to sound too racist, so they're passing the buck to the viewers instead.

Novelty lang talaga yung beatbox niya, para lang masabing naiba. His voice sounded way too plain kung wala yun, as evidenced by the second and third songs he sang.

Five or ten years from now, it's not going to suit his age anymore, and then he'll have nothing left to offer.

even yun first song, the bon jovi song, the first time he did that, pati ako napabilib, pero nun inulit niya parang yun nanaman...hinde na nakakabilib...

sa pangatlo lang siya nadale bec. of the lame songs that AI runs a contest with.

dapat composers ng 3rd song, contemporary naman. hindi ala We are the World type of songs.

Between Jordin and Blake...Jordin is definetely better.

But Jordin is too young. To have so much attention at 17...is a double edge sword. Only very few celebreties were able to handle the pressure of showbiz well.

Having a superstar father will definite help her future career (hmmm...baka liability pa ito).

That's why they had a problem with Taylor Hicks before, he refused his original "debut song".

They still gave him one that sucked.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
