It's their channel and it's their decision. That's all.

It's a shame about the public utilities. You don't necessarily get into that kind of business for your health, you know. Meralco was doing fine up until the point where Marcos shafted the Lopezes on that. When the Lopezes returned, though, it was never the same, the damage was done.

I've always been uneasy about having such a high ranking official with such a prominent public affairs program. In my opinion, Noli should have divorced himself completely from MGB when he won.

I guess the point is moot now.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

in another point of view, De Castro owes his popularity and fame to ABS-CBN. hinde siya maging bise kung di dahil sa exposure nya sa Dos.

bite the hand that fed you, it reveals something 'bout a person.

Politics and show business are one and the same, power is the root of it all, the way they use each other comes to no surprise that every good or bad movie has to come to an end.

basta galit ako sa lopez kasi ang mahal nila mag charge sa north expressway... this is to recover daw their investment of 20 to 25 billion (owwss) . I bet this inflated amount of investment was taken from a loan guaranteed by the government. hay...kawawa tayong mga pinoy!

So true. Despite what most people believe, Meralco in particular has been UNFAIRLY SINGLED OUT. Even if you ask other utilities (Davao Light, VECO, etc...), they'd tell you that Meralco is being unfairly treated in their various controversies, simply because of (inaccurate) public perception.

Lawful? Hmmm... I think an unbiased third party would find many rulings against Meralco to be highly questionable. The performance of Maynilad, however, is a totally different matter. Maynilad is a total disaster!

In any case, I think MGB is a bad, bad show that panders to the audience's lowest common denominator. If it's cancelled, then GOOD RIDDANCE!

Personally, I think this is belated news on a belated development. The Inquirer just managed to put a spin on the story, especially in light of last year's political developments.

But on the other hand, may kasalanan din ang ABS-CBN dyan, IMO. I've always believed that they should have axed MGB the moment that Noli ran for, and became, vice-president. But noooooo, they had to promote his daughter Katkat's career, unremarkable as it was.

I still can't believe that it actually took them this long to see that there was an obvious conflict of interest.

Dito sa atn parang hindi high way kungdi MY WAY or OUR WAY.

Meralco is only distribution kumbaga sa Malls dealers lang sila.
