I do not think being factually accurate is the goal here.

I guess you have a point.

A lot of movies could take a page from Bay...

    That said,

Michael Bay's 13 Hours promotes some of the worst Benghazi conspiracy theories - Vox

Sounds like just about every Michael Bay movie, ever. After sitting through the trainwreck that was TF2, I've vowed not to waste any money on anything else by the man. It's all rubbish. Not even the entertaining kind... just mind-numbing brainless explosions and violence.

Still love dumb action movies. I will spend on the next FF movie, and maybe even Suicide Squad, but Benghazi or TMNT2? Nah. Pass.

i saw the flick. the action was good. but i agree with zack beauchamp-- the movie lends credence to one of the conspiracy theories of the benghazi attack.

i also read the 85-page review released by the US Senate Select Committee on Investigation relative to the attack.

it was not true that the chief of base at the CIA Annex ordered GRS security contractors, led by ex-navy seal tyrone woods, to stand down, as incorrectly depicted in the movie.

but, to my mind, in fairness to michael bay, the movie has successfully shown that some men are prepared to die so that others may live. reports had it that the battle of benghazi left more than 100 libyan attackers dead. tyrone woods and glen doherty gave up their lives to save more than 20 CIA personnel at the annex, most of them "harvard and yale educated intelligence analysts." zack beauchamp failed to mention that.

that was supreme act of courage; that was what heroism all about.

investigation had too much clout to be honest.

there are WAAAAY more things that are intentionally omitted in public.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
