Looks great! I drove a TT before and it reminds me of a porshe in handling, just a great car imo. Can you post a bigger pic of your avatar?
Thanks for the compliment.Originally Posted by de Schalom
The pic in my avatar is my former car (just sold it)...its a modded TT with 19" wheels, porsche brakes, ABT bodykit, etc...sold it coz every time i drive it, cops would always watch my speed and had too many tickets (which affects my insurance rate)....I bought another one just this weekend which is barebone stock but Im still happy. Spring is one of the best season to drive.

Weekend Ride - MB W124 260E
Weekdays Ride - Isuzu 4B1 engine, Body custom built by Sarao
just wondering...if the cops hassled you in the TT to the point that you had to get rid of it, why buy another one? wouldn't it have been easier to return the old one to stock and not take the hit on depreciation?Originally Posted by airshaq20

2. I hear my wife complain about mods every ......hmmm..almost every weekend.
3. Every time I drive with her - she keeps on reminding me to stay at 65mph.
4. I've asked her if i could buy a big bike and she gave me some conditions (this is one, get a stock car).
5. If you babied your car for a while...put all these nice things...would you be happy tearing it apart?
6. My previous one had a black interior - present one has a aviator gray which, in my opinion is nice.
I know what you mean by depreciation...but hey....cars are never an investment...they're toys.
I used to drive an E36 and E46. Believe me...I was pulled over a few times but bimmers are known to be gentleman's car...they are no threats in the road...I drove ones with a lost DL for a month and a half...drove with an expired DL for 2 months.....got caught but got away.....
You get your self a G35, an NSX, a TT, a 350z, a boxster or S2000 and you'll see what i mean (by the way, i have friends who drives these and we all have the same experience).

you are assuming things. i drove 2-seat sportscars for years and i know exactly what that means to cops....especially if you look young. i was just commenting that you would have lost less money by parting it out. but hey, i'm not about to tell you how to spend your hard-earned money.Originally Posted by airshaq20
I know what you mean...i guess i didnt have the guts to tear it apart. I did that when i sold my first bimmer (e36) and i couldnt help my self not to be emotional when i handed the keys to the new owners...Im pretty sure you know what im talking about...BTW, havent seen your sig anywhere here...mind posting a pic?Originally Posted by M54 Powered
