My ride's a 1999 4x2 ford ranger, bought during the time ford was still reintroducing itself to the Philippine market. No fancy stuff, just a naturally aspirated 2.5 diesel engine with over 200,000 km on the odometer which has never been opened. There are also practically no mods, just an added sound system and a couple of aux fans added to help the a/c fend off the summer heat.
It was initially a pain to refit, with almost all of the parts not being changed after 8 years of hard service.
I've been driving it (and been a driver) for just over a year, and in a couple of days I'm off to med school so I won't be able to drive my tsikot regularly anymore. So I decided to roam around during the summer with my truck.
here are some of the pictures.
first is malabrigo point, batangas
and here is the truck
up next is bolinao, pangasinan
and lastly, just couple of weeks ago, in bicol. Went to daet, camarines sur (for wakeboarding), and then to albay
pictures here are from EME, or the quezon national park
Dang. I'm gonna miss it. But, necessity calls, and fuel's skyrocketing.
