i know the car has been out for a long time, and might be replaced within a year. still don't care, its still very good as it is... so finally decided to buy one and enjoy life! its a 1.5vTECl 5speedMT. its got sun-roof and got the rear spoiler as option....so far satisfied.
Over-all impressions: hhhhm, much easier to drive than my ESi; got a solid body. Funky styling and very clever seat arrangement possibilities.

Interesting to see sunroof and turn-signal mirrors as standard on your ride (na wala sa Philippine-spec models).

    Nifty.

Do give us some FC and suspension comments (if you do have the chance)
I also plan on buying this vehicle next year so I want to hear some feedback regarding the driving experience.

its a 1.5vTEC btw...... all those (sunroof, foglamps, side mirror integrated winker) are standard on the models here for the 1500cc. but they don't come with Side skirts, LED rear lamp, Rear disk brakes. so i guess product planners here have a different idea on things.... anyway since i already had the rear spoiler installed as additional accessory, i would like to add or actually modify rear brake to discs...... anybody know's some JPN surplus in Banawe or Evangelista? i'll go back Pinas within the month for a few days vacation. any link or reply would be appreciated.

FC? sorry u have to educate me on this...
Suspension comments, well the car is pretty stable even during spirited driving, there's little body roll considering that its such a tall vehicle...ala MPV. though u may feel road bumps and other undulations.... i believe Honda struck a good balance between handling and suspension stiffness. Other driving experience.....i'm just amaze at just how much more flexibile this engine than my ESi (non vTEC). i can actually attest that the L15 is more torquey and i can just keep low REVS and still putter along pretty effortless. over-all its a much more relaxing experience than the EG Civic ESi.....

oic, accdg. to the trip computer. mine is just averaging 14l/100Km. (7.14km/li) so that's pretty horrible.... anyway because the car only has 88km. on the ODO and when i took it our of the dealer it was only 45Km. so can't really say that's accurate.... we'll report on that later.

Fuel Consumption, though i know i only have very low mileage (still tight engine) and mostly just drives in stop and go traffic. the Trip Computer is reporting somewhere around 6.9-8 li/100 km.

hi guys, after having the car for around 3weeks now have some update...

    [The MODS]

    1. Installed AirCon filter: since now its summer here too, i've been using the A/C every day. so i thought it might be nice to breathe a little cleaner air. so i had one installed. kaya nga lang parang medyo humina saka nabawasan ang lamig ng A/C ko. Hina fan that's understandable given the expected wind resistance.... pero bawas lamig? or i'm just being paranoid.....

Filter goes in here and to the back of the tiny Glove compartment....

    2. Sounds.
    - added a tweeter for the Front and an 8" sub at the rear.
-swapped Stock Honda HU w/ a SONY CDX-GT460U.
*can plug in USB devices e.g. iPod.
*can now play AAC (MPEG4 audio files, same as iPod's.....) in add to
    MP3/WMA support.
    * also a front mounted AUX-Audio IN connector.

    [Addition to the FAV list]
    3. MAP lights....
    4. Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel.

    [update on FC]
    *here's what's really dis-appointing i'm only getting 10.1li/100Km.
*compared to its JPN 10-15 Mode FC rating, that's only half.
*must be the way i drive? and the less than ideal traffic here....

got the latest BEST CAR japanese Mag (valid till 8/10) below is their latest info. on the 2nd. Gen honda fit coming out sometime October (making a World Debut at the Tokyo Motor show).
-Engine line up is: 1.3li i-Vtec cranking 100ps. looks familiar fm. the R18a series.... and no mention of the 1.5li though.
-as well as slight increase in Exterior dimensions. now i think it will match squarely with the Mazda 2. its going to be a good fight.
