Hopefully, who knows? SkyX is to have a supercharger.....But that's in there for efficiency.....[emoji4]
I agree w/ this guy, though....CONNECTION is above lap times & spec sheets.

Looks like a softer iteration of the current CX-5. Creases are gone.

    Bring on Skyactiv-X!

Basing on the KE CX5's 5year run, late '19 is a wild guess.....IF the SkyX is ready by then.[emoji4]

Mazda under Ford can't be compared to Bermaz. My experience w/ the current management has restored some faith back in dealerships. Prior to my 1st Mazda, the Skyactiv 3, my other badges were & continue to be DIY-maintained.

    ^ good to hear bro

i myself do a lot of tinkering w/ our vehicles but sometimes i have to accept the fact that some repair jobs must be left to the pros or it'll be a case of destroy-it-yourself

    Kai Dimensions:
    Length: 174 inches
    Width: 73 inches
    Height: 54.1 inches
    Wheelbase: 108.3-inch

vs. The current 3, Kai is:
    1.6 inches shorter,
    2.7 inches wider,
    3.2 inches lower
    2 inches longer wheelbase.

    Under the hood:
Skyactiv-X is expected to deliver between 10-30 percent more torque and 20-30 percent better fuel economy than the current Skyactiv-G engines.
