The New Mazda 2

i think the mazda2 will be a seller here as long as they produce more of the sedans than the hatchbacks in both 1.3 and 1.5 forms and M/T availability. once launched here, it will rival the City/Jazz and Yaris/Verso powerhouses. but i must say that if Mazda Philippines wants to mark their spot, they must launch it as early as possible before the new City will be on sale here.

and i think no other country in the ASEAN region has this model with the 3 as the basic. but I could be wrong.

the fiesta is good pero the looks (for me lang ha) doesn't kill. mas aggressive dating ng 2 for me. *looks at ford fiesta* hmm.. pwede bawiin? haha! maganda fiesta lalo na interior. maybe ayoko lang dun is yung rear? pero kung ford paguusapan, well, i'll pick kuga for sure

grabe na nagiging labanan ngayon ah, labanan ng mga futuristic looks na. lalong mahihirapan mga nagbabalak ng new gen jazz pumili between it's competitors just like me XD pero di bale. i'll set that aside muna dahil wala pa naman ako car. pagpinalad lang talaga ako sa mazda3 saka ko guguluhin utak ko about sa mga ganyan

There was a talk about a diesel engine Mazda2 but no clear announcement from Mazda Phils.

There is a Mazda 5 but never heard of a Mazda 4

sir actually what i love about mazda is the deals and freebies,

1.like meron sila 1 year Emergency Road Assistance (aside from what you get sa Comprehensive na insurance) sa brother ko na Honday CIty walang ganun.

2. 1k and 10 free PMS, again sa honda ng brother ko wala din ganito

3. backup sensor, etc..

saka alam ko na mas mura ang mazda 2 compare sa jazz, ang mga nag hohonda at nag totoyota kase yung tipong pag nag sawa na benta at bili yli ng bago (kaya gusto nila mataas ang resale value)

pero kung katulad ko na ang turing sa kotse ay transportasyon lang talaga...
sa mura na at magandang deal na ako

yep may sedan version ang mazda 2 and fiesta ako mas gusto ko fiesta kaysa sa mazda 2 (especially pag dating sa interior) pero exterior ang hirap pumili (for me hehe)

hehehe..sakin kase cars are not investment they are necessity, so if you sell your car every five years, ang laki ng talo mo pag ganito...

ako i plan to keep my car hanggat tumatakbo sya at di ako binibigyan ng sakit ng ulo...we still have our 1988 Nissan Sunny Box type...maayos pat at makinis..

since we all know naman na Mazda is a reliable brand...so antay konti since wala padin naman ako pera hehehehe....sa pagdating ni mazda 2..para mazda 5 na oto ko wahahahaha

Not so fast * actor21, we are not sure if Mazda will still use this aggressive selling scheme in 2009. Just hope they do! If that happens you will see more Civics, Citys, Rollas and Vios in the 2nd hand car market... The 2 is probably aiming for the ageing City and Vios models.

If Mazda is wise and I'm sure they are (if they're reading tsikot) They'd pre-empt both the MMC Civic and the new City in April by launching the 2 and 3 at the same time in March which is Graduation month and we all know Dads are yanked by their sons/daughters to buy them cars at that time.

So yes the 100k low down might still apply next year who knows... The local auto industry is booming anyways and the financial crisis impact is largely ignored. Let's see what happens in January where most of the effect is told to be really felt in our country.

Well not sure kung April, but buzzwords are that the new City and the MMC Civic will appear in the upcoming MIAS.

It's just sad to hear na mukhang compacts nowadays will be price tagged at the 1m range. Especially now the subcompact market is also booming. Expect the 2 & 3 to be coming at Honda's heels... The more choices we have the better it is for the consumers.

hehehe cant help it im excited, i really hope they do offer the all in low downpayment scheme..and i'm sure they will...if not..i won't be able to afford one...this low down payment scheme is the reason why 3 is still selling despite being old in the market...lucky rich kids...ako maski motorsiklo ako ang bumili hehehe..too bad i'm no rich man's son
