    Nice upgrades, but at the expense of affordability. I was looking at the "R" last July and it was still Php 930K and now it is Php 990K.

    naku tumaas sobra un price 60k for the R? ouch... too much but atleast it may dinagdag konti. i want the 2.0 hatch... ive seen the 17" rims of the 2.0r on the hatch and it looks damn good. <-- silver one in dlsu sports complex.

    yung HID sa R would cost around 30-40K...(well, depending what brand it is pa...) plus engine immobilizer, di ba kasama na rin dati yun??

    still 4 speed auto? I think this is their biggest shortcoming.

    To the 2 posts right on top of mine, you're very right! It's quite a shame the upgrades didn't include a manual gearbox, even just on the S model. This chassis brilliance is still nonsense without it as standard equipment!

    why no manual?
    because of the focus 1.6L ... chassis brilliance aside, the mazda3 still rocks! and is still the better looking brother to the focus and s40.
