nabasa ko lang sa PEX. Info na rin para sa mga naka-Tribute na tsikoteers.

anyone here had the same problem?

CAI style ang snorkel that is why nasa bumper ito to draw cold air. Easy fix lang naman ito actually hehe, disconnect the tube/snorkel na nasa bumper kapag tag-ulan or may alam na dadaanang baha.

another instance, pero sa ibang bansa naman.

    http://ph.answers.yahoo.com/question...4041022AAQAq1P

My Mazda was borrowed by my sister and eventually they encountered a flood. In short the engine conked out. Upon checking at the car dealers the cylinders at the upper portion in between the 6 pistons are full of water....to my surprise!!! Is this possible? Now they checked the pistons....2 of the piston rod are broken and more to check. I have a problem with the parts..they are expensive...thus anybody knows where I can buy cheaper piston assembly? and also the timming chain? Althoug my sister is going to pay for the repairs...I wanted to minimize the expenses....is the damage possible?

It's low, but not exactly that low. The (old) CR-V's is in the same place.

    Not really a new issue:

Like I've said before, when in doubt... don't. Just because it's a tall car, doesn't mean it's flood-capable. Duh. If you have no idea of the water-fording depth capability of your car/truck, don't even try.

Notice how they don't ever publish water-fording depth, breakover angle and the like for CR-Vs, Escapes, X-Trails and etcetera? That's because they're not off-roaders. In other words, they're not meant to be driven off-road, in the mud or underwater. Anyone who buys them thinking that they can is seriously misinformed.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
