500 units a month and still planning to export to other ASEAN countries. 500 units Malaysian consumption pa lang yan. I don't think they will create an LHD line just for us in the next few years since Malaysia's big neighbors are predominantly RHD. For now and the near future our CX5s will remain CBU Japan.

Good thing for us (Philippine market). Nagbabasa ako ng Malaysian forums, and hindi nila gusto ung quality nung sarili nilang gawa. Most of them mas gusto pa rin ung Japan CBU, lalo na at konti ung price difference.

Mga sirs, Just got my Mazda CX-5 Pro last saturday. So far im enjoying it. Question lang regarding sa fuel. Is it true na 91-93 Octane rating lang? What fuel can you recommend? Thanks.

Stick to 93 and up. My dad is happy with Nitro+.

Went to Mazda alabang(again) to check the cx5 and peek at the spareparts /pms cost /etc...

Found out that the istop battery cost is P26k !!!

Every 2yrs palit.....hmmmmmmm


Still in the process of overthinking and overanalyzing things...esp w the wifey . Need to decide this week..bahala na si batman

Buti na lang ung non i-stop model nakuha ko since di naman namin talaga kailangan ung i-stop. I wonder how much the normal CX-5 battery would cost since iba yata itsura nya kaysa sa ibang car battery.

Maybe you can use an ordinary battery but iStop will most likely stop working.
