Mazda Astina...

Saw a Mazda Astina sa tsikot.com classifieds. 95k lang sya. i have always been interested in getting one. u think ok sya? been trying to spot astinas and yung lantis yata yung familia body na hatch... what you think guys? di ba hirap parts? fuel consumption? maintenance? etc? TIA for you replies!

basta be sure na MT at ok na ok ang headlight mechanism. b6 1.6L carb engine nya.. swappable to almost new mazda engines. alam ko may date function din dash nito hehehe.

be sure also of the struts of the hatch.. dapat aakyat sya ng kusa, at kailangan pwersahan ng konti pag sasarado.

saw your post regarding astina. i have one and i'm planning to have it custom painted and restored. but i don't have any idea where to bring it. i want to be sure that the body works and painting procedure are done right. i read in the internet that panels and doors should be taken out. i worry that some autoworks shop might not be doing the process. can you refer some good shops around the metro?

can I fine tune the engine to increase it's power and speed?

Also, where is autorama? i need to buy some parts. the struts of the hatch is not functioning anymore. thank you very much!

Di pa ba kayo nagka problem sa headlights nito? For example, ayaw bumukas?

Yung 93 model na nakuha kong second hand, ok pa naman yung pop-up headlights!

Pag nagloko, may latch yun pwede mo i-angat mano-mano.

May lumabas na na 1300 cc?

Yung sakin kasi mixed city/highway eh around 8 km/liter ... pero nasa 40s pa lang yung gas nun.

Simula nung nagmahal ang gas nawalan na ko ng gana magcompute.

Mods lang niya is intake and 4-1 headers.
