mga sir, newbie ako dito at meron din ako tanong sa nabili ko 2nd hand na mazda323, bka mabigyan nyo ako ng sagot dito, napa tune-up ko na ito sa goodyear servitek after that parang ganun pa rin ung problem:
(1) gas consumption is 6 liters/km city driving, normal ba ito?
(2) idling medyo nag stuck up, pag inapakan uli ung gas balik uli sa normal na 8k rev.

makakatulong ba sa pag save ng gas kung ibalik ko ung original na air filter, cone filter kasi ang nakakabit sa mazda na nabili ko. effective din kaya kung ipalagay ko ung gas saver na gudget?

meron din ba kayong alam na servitek na medyo malapit sa san pedro laguna? ung meron alam sa mazda famila?

Thats the Familia, right? We used to have one and it's a gas guzzler. When I drove it, it only got 5 or 6 Km/L in city driving. Aside from that, it was a nice car with roomy interior, nice ride, nice looks and torquey engine.

Having a M/T tranny helps improve the fuel economy based on the experience of other owners.

Suggest you bring your car to Goodyear High Performance Center along Alabang- Zapote Road, in front of Goodyear Philippines Plant near Toyota Alabang. Look for Rolf Maag, Service Manager. They have diagnostic equipment there to troubleshoot your car's problems.

I have a Familia AT right now. kaka palit ko lang ng CV joint at rear engine support kahapon. ang problema bumagsak yung idling, hindi naman yun ganun before ipaayos, perfect ang idling ng kotse ko. i was thinking the actuator, ipapacheck ko nga, kanina when i used it kaninang umaga medyo nag improve from 500-700rpm pero shy pa din sa 800-900rpm normal idling. mine's all stock except for the 15 inch mags. and im pretty satisfied sa performance, mine's averaging 7-8km/l, of course normal driving lang. pag hataw mode mas malakas sya.

ano kaya pwede kong patignan for this? thanks. makikisabay nako sa thread starter. pareho naman kami tsikot. hehehe
