My CX7's fanbelt got dislodged from the drive pulleys this afternoon. I just used the car this morning and I didn't notice anything wrong with the car. Then this afternoon, when the driver started its engine, he said he just heard something from inside the engine bay, when he checked, the fanbelt was hanging out of the pulleys.

Upon closer inspection on the exposed belt, it is fine and did not have any signs of wear.

Is this part of the 3yr/50,000kms warranty? If yes, will the dealer shoulder the cost of transporting the car to their service center?

check the pulley's alignment bro. AFAIK, only misaligned pulleys can cause the belt to dislodge.

It's really a mystery why this happened.

Talked to Mazda Pampanga, they'll be towing the CX7 in a while. But I will be charged the towing fee. They said towing is not part of the warranty.

Less than 20K kms palang ang natakbo ng CX7.
