Mazda 3 1.6V '05 or 2.0R '04?

happy new year!
magtatanong lang sana ako kung alin dto sa dalawa ang mas sulit for a 2nd hand car overall in terms of FC, Ride, Performance, atbp....
A. 2005 Mazda 3 1.6V
B. 2004 Mazda 3 2.0R

Mileage is less 50k, price ranges ng dalawa magkalapit kaya torn ako between the two..

konti lng daw difference ng FC ang 1.6 sa 2.0...
sa performance syempre sa 2.0 kac malakas humatak...
at mas maporma ang 2.0 hehehe...

ung tinitingnan kong mazda 3 2.0 model 04 makukuha ko ng 445k last price n un... ung 2.0 pinili ko kac 4 kami sa family tapos madalas kami akyat baguio baka pag nag 1.6 ako kapusin... i mean aahon nga pero hirap kesa sa 2.0...

ang mga pinag pilian ko n brand ng car is

lancer 03-04
honda 03-05 din

ang price ndi nag kakalayo...

kaya mazda3 pinili ko kac iba dating ng looks tapos same price din naman...

Madalas po ba kayong mag out of town trip? Kapag city driving lang po I suggest get the 1.6..There's no point in getting the 2.0 kung madalas po kayo sa city driving kung FC ang pag-uusapan..Malakas po sa gas ang 2.0 di hamak..Pero if you've got money to feed the 2.0, then grab it..

thanks for the input. Ilan kaya ang nakukuha mong FC sa 2.0 mo, umaabot ka ba ng 9km/l? kc if less than 1km/l lang ang difference bet the two variants, id get the 2.0r na rin. hehe

once a month lang ang out of town ko at usually tagaytay lang. 90% pang city driving usually ang daily routine ko, pangoffice at pangdate.

naguguluhan din ako actually sa ratio ng weight at engine ng dalawang variant. mas matipid kaya ang 2.0R(1290kg) with its engine compared sa 1.6V(1265kg)?baka kc high revs ang 1.6V since bigat ng body and as a result mas gastos sa langis, and sa 2.0R with its low revs can actually be at par with FCs of the 1.6V variant.

2.0 and 1.6 has the same FC!..so sa 2.0 ka na.. masasayan ka na sa options and performance...

just like in my case, 2.0 vs 2.5xty... 2.5 pinili ko over 2.0.... almost the same FC, best option pa 2.5L

I've heard the 1.6L is pretty sluggish and has bad FC. I'd get the 2.0.

Based from other Mazda 3 threads, the 2.0 variant has better city mileage because it's not underpowered compared with its 1.6 brother. But in highway driving, 1.6 has better mileage.
