    Hi,

The driver seat's leather on my 11 year old M3 is already worn out, the repair estimate I got from a known shop will definitely break my bank, can you guys recommend a reputable and trustworthy shop that would not cost an arm and a leg.

    TIA.

If it looks like the original grain, I would not mind.

You can also do it by "panels". Meaning you can Have the worn out ones replaced while leaving those undamaged " cow hides" untouched.

The challenge there will be looking for a similar looking leather material. Known leather seatmakers probably have those in stock or can source them more easily.

I have a 1.5 M3 & had faux leatherseats done my Seatmate. Some parts of the driver said were also damaged due to wear & tear & they just replace the part damaged, not the whole seat cover. Maybe they can do the same for yours.

Seatmate did the work on my civic fd2. The material they used wasn't an exact replica but it's pretty close enough. People who have ridden in it haven't commented about the outcome so I guess it has more than passed the eye test.

W/ regards to the length of time it took seatmate to do the job order , well, I left the car with them at about 9am , then went back for it before 5pm.

Leder inertia sa Timog area does section repair for leather seats. they may also offer you to have the seats dyed after repair para color matched lahat.

Will schedule another repair again on my leather seat on the driver side from seatmate as some parts are cracking again. Which makes me wonder what causes that? I had my wife's car (Toyota Innova) seats also covered done by seatmate. Same year namin pinagawa but yung sa kanya wala pang crack. Mas exposed pa nga car niya sa sun when she parks outside during her work.

Maybe it's a mechanical issue? How much does the leather deform when you sit in it. How much pressure does your body apply to the leather? Are you wearing any rough fabrics or do your pants have rivets (like maong) that can dig in to the leather?

Ok naman, I left it with them in the morning and was done right after lunch, and so far as of this writing ok yun re-panel na ginawa ng seat pro, although syempre hindi parehas yun perforation ng ipinalit pero very subtle yun difference, hindi naman ganun ka-noticeable.
