Hi there guys!
I am new here and I would like to seek opinions or help from you mazda users.
I have mazda 323 glxi (I think 1998 model).
I bought it as a second hand item sometime 2nd quarter of 2009.
Recently I had a change in the transmission.
Although the car is in good running condition, I have observed that after the change in the transmission, the fuel efficiency has also drop to about 2.7 km/L.
Also, I had it registered for 2010 and failed the emission test.
They said that my mazda is giving a 9.0 % CO whereas the max. is just about 4.7% CO.
Any opinions and help is much apprecaited.
Shukran!
Kailan ka ba huling nag pa tune up ng sasakyan . Palit spark plug , Check distributor like rotor ,contact point , disributor cap ,Ignition wire set . Check the correct engine timing under engine specification . Kung carburator type engine adjust the correct air fuel mixture you can see it when you look at the spark plug burn if rich . Change also your engine oil . This is one way you can pass the emission.
