wow ang galing, ganda talaga. so lucky us. yung available sa atin na 2.3 eh yung mid-life upgrade na. can someone review the sound system? do we even get Bose system? alam ko merong naka-abang na dyan sa deck for a sub-woofer. how about any news of the manual tranny? i really hope this brings alot of sales for Mazda. its a job well done and they deserve to earn decent money... di lang puro toyota , honda inc. Zoom Zoom na.

and not to mention we'r getting 165hp? ibig sabihin its running almost similar cams and c.r. to the JDM than the USDM. sabagay we have better fuel than California right? (in terms of Octane availability).

i know medyo malabo, but still hoping. hhhhm doesn't it excite you having a 6speed & CRDI (141hp) same as the Europeans are getting. now that's really cool.

5-spd A/T yang anjan? AFAIK, Mazda6 only comes with 4-SPD and 6-SPD. (6-SPD A/T for 3.0 V6)

Build sa Japan? Mazda6 in the US is build locally.

yup 5spd AT for the i4. i think US will get the same - i mean 2006 version by October right? at least u get the 6spd for the V6. which is not available elsewhere except North america.

Now, the upscale MazdaSpeed 6 has the AWD.

it's really more of a reskin than a bottom-up design, so they aren't going to change the drive wheels. i drove the previous-gen mazda 6 (2003 model) and it has pretty impressive performance for a fwd sedan

Top-of-the-line refers to the MazdaSpeed model... 2.3 Turbo AWD... the AWD drivetrain is based on the Tribute/Escape AWD, but modified for sports performance, I think. It's something that a lot of Mazda fans have been anticipating, since the Mazda6 and Tribute ride on the same platform.

Not that we have a chance in hell of getting it here.

You can go to the MAZDA.CO.JP website. and find out that its more than just a re-skin. underneath those beautiful bumpers, grill, black piano dash. structural changes were made to make it even stiffer. bigger brakes + new bushings for better isolation (even with 17in wheels) and more sound deadening materials for a more hush ride. i'd say its really alot more than what other manufacturers would do mid-life upgrades.
