yeah but the article explain traction control.. naiintidihan ko naman un...
pero bakit pa may "off feature" kailan ba gusto ng driver na naka off
un traction control.. how will this "benefit" the drive

ah, well if you need to "control" the car's launch and cornering instead of the ecu doing it, it can be turned off, if you check out most videos/test ng mga cars they turn the traction control off if they want to launch the car, drift it etc.

With TCS off, it's generally a more "enjoyable" drive. Sometimes the car can feel sluggish with TCS on in certain situations. (I wouldn't want to have it on while going down a gravel road. )... but it probably wouldn't go on that much anyway in a 2.3 liter AT car. If it were the 3.0, you'd likely need it more.

After all the good reviews, ba't parang konti lang nakikita natin nito sa daan?

isketi: I guess most people still shy away from the Mazda badge, especially when that much money is involved. They'd rather get the Accord or the Camry I guess. But for me this is a very good car. Given the chance, I'd be happy to have one.

The problem with the Mazda 6 is that the Mazda 3 is a newer and better engineered car. The top of the line 2.0 R is just as quick as the 2.3, nimbler, more modern in style, with a funkier interior and much cheaper. And all you give up is elbow room. I see a lot of Mazda3 2.0Rs around.

People aren't willing to pay big money for a Mazda yet (except for the Tribute... I'm seeing lots of them...), and it will be a while before they can move more upmarket.

However, if we we're blessed with the full Mazda6 shot (the AWD, the Turbo, the 260PS++), that's a whole lot new story.

The Mazda 6 seems to be priced right...

I think i've only seen one Mazda 6 2.3 on the road since New Year, the second one was the one on display at Greenhills Theater Mall...

    I've seen about half a dozen 2.3s.

Di lang sila makapenetrate sa market yata sa city. In the south, Mazda Alabang is moving units, at least.

Sabihin mo kay misis, Jun, that's a V6. You just leave it in 4th or 5th gear and lug it everywhere... almost the same thing...
