They have to make it bigger. The Mazda6's biggest handicap compared to the Accord/Camry set is its size. It's too small to compete with them on an even footing.

Akala ko Nissan Altima, I like those dual pipes!!! Looks bigger too, the current Mazda6 is small for a midsize sedan.

July 28th, 2007 04:06 PM #6oh yeah those are ***y looking exhaust pipes indeed. nicely integrated to the bumper. the Toyota Reiz (Mark-X in Japan) has a similar design. Anyway i got a copy of BestCar (Japanese Mag) says they have 2 Engine line-up for the JDM Market.
- 2.0li MZR: DISI (Direct Injection). good for about 155hp; 20kg-m.
- 2.5li MZR: DISI( stroked 2.3li ). good for about 190hp; 25kg-m.
and the US line-up is rumored to have ...
- 2.5li MZR: DISI ( stroked 2.3li ). about 180hp (slightly detuned); 25kg-m.
- 3.5li V6 (Ford's Duratec?). about 255hp (up fm. 220hp of the old 3.0li).
and the latter should have the 6Speed AT. no mention of what tranny for the 2.5li though.... so we can see this time Mazda is not going to play second fiddle when it comes to output of their cars. ha ha. another HorsePower War begins....
also as for Body styles. the WAGON is dropped. Retaining just the Sedan and more practical 5door Hatch... no idea which one they'll introduce in PH though....Last edited by parakitoJDM; July 28th, 2007 at 04:08 PM.
