Not Scoshe, but a cheaper alternative. IIRC, I got it from ebay before. You can get something similar from Lazada:

I decided to transfer the old Scosche MagicMount from an old M3 and the new one. Placement is at the lower left side of the center air vents:
Removing the mount from the old car was quite easy, no scratch damage with the dashboard surface. I just peeled it off carefully. To mount it to the new M3, I used heavy duty M3 double sided tapes.
The position is not perfect for waze use, it can be a bit of a hassle to view the phone for navigation. The position is good enough for a tidy placement for the phone.
Nope, I don't have the AIO tweaks on my MazdaConnect. I just use Waze's voice navigation in combination with the M3's stock navigation. I use these only when I'm driving at unfamiliar roads though. For daily use, waze's traffic and hazard voice updates are enough for me.
Btw had our M3 coated by Technical Details. Nice results!
However he did mention that it seemed like my unit was already detailed study since the paint layer was a bit low na. Newly released lang naman last December. Mukhang casa (QAve) gumawa.

Ian and his crew did an excellent job on my wife's dark blue ride. They started at 8:30 and were done around 6PM with 4 people working on it. The older Everest in the shop will take three days to complete. It depends on the condition of the paint.
He recommended a detailing job for my white Mz3 but won't insist on ceramic coating it since white is harder than other dark colors and swirls are not as noticeable. A good wax will be enough to protect it.
I personally don't like sticking things on the dashboard as well since it will be a pain to remove without damaging the surface. I use a suction cup mount stuck on the windshield between the steering wheel and the driver's A-pillar.

I don't think I can afford to have that circular thing "hanging". It would have been better if it is rectangular. Another thing, I don't want to cover the emergency button with my phone.
Thank you for sharing.
TopGear PH's tip sheet on ceramic coating:
Some brands are manufactured for enthusiasts, while others are made for application by experienced and trained professionals. Expect the former to be more affordable—this may require periodic infrequent reapplication, too. The latter will cost more, with the outlet doing the application possibly being able to offer a warranty on the result as long as certain care procedures are followed. This will include periodic washings and removal of tree sap and other droppings as soon as possible.
In either case, just because your vehicle has undergone the process or treatment it doesn't mean you no longer need to dust, wash or remove bird droppings. You still do. The difference is that maintaining your paint will require less elbow grease.
Is it a good investment? Done right, by a reputable shop, you bet it is.
