Hello, for those who just had their M3's this year, when you received your unit, did the dealership install the navigation (sd card) already?

I've been following up on my sd card from Mazda Pasig till now and all I hear are excuses.

is it mentioned on paper, whether the SD card is included in the sale or not?

It is! All new deliveries should have nav pre installed.

just checking, po.
while it may be true that the specifications sheet does indicate that the electronic hardware is pre-installed, it does not necessarily mean the SD card it will read, is also included.
it happened to me (in my non-mazda car).

it is difficult to un-install the pre-installed hardware, as this may entail replacing the HU at additional cost.

Hi, mine did not come with the SD card also, agent told me I can get the updated SD card when I come in for servicing once they have updated the software (perhaps they are updating the gps map). Kindly update once you get yours.

Just noticed that after using the car, there's a whirring sound (a fan maybe) that can be audibly heard under the bonnet. Is this normal? It went away after a few minutes though. TIA

Yes thats normal with some cars these days to cool the hot oil and keep it from "baking" off and leaving carbon deposits.

Got my unit lastweek and agent told be it already comes with the SD card but they are still waiting for the updated version to arrive. they will let me know once they get it.

I asked this to my agent while having my unit serviced. Yung update daw will include instructions like "turn left/turn right etc" unlike the previous version which is really bad. No word yet when Android Auto will be available as stated in the carguide website.

Alam ko it turns off automatically when you close it. There's a switch in the latch.

Not exactly old if you're talking used. The 3rd gen BM series came out in 2014. The Facelifted 2017 gen3 BN series is the current one w/ minor tweaks & added features like GVectoringControl.

hindi po gumana sa mazda 3 2017 with OS version 59 ung sakin po, papaano nyo po napagana. try ko demo mode nila hindi gumana pero sayo nagfull mode kana kaagad buti gumana.

Hi. I got my M3 April this year in Pasig as well. Until now, no feedback on the sd card. 😔
