Hi guys, when I test drove the CX-5, there's this feature called iStop. What does it do?

I-stop is a smart technology that saves fuel by switching off the engine when the car stops. Idling stop systems save fuel by automatically shutting down the engine when the vehicle is static and restarting it when the vehicle returns to motion.

Not yet officially supported. There are some hack guides but these can void the warranty of your infotainment system.

Thanks for the reply guys! Will take delivery of FWD CX5 Machine Grey this Saturday. Can't wait!

Thinking of trying the OVT for the CX5. How much performance gain can I expect? Is this an ECU remap?

On my Ranger Wildtrak, I got 20% increase in the before and after dyno using DPChip. Was happy with that chip.

Grats!!!! That's a pretty color....& getting to be the most popular.
Yes, OVT offers reversible & safe custom ECU Tunes. You get to choose your fuel option & tune type....econo, power or balanced. Numbers are relative to the choices opted. Practical, earlier usable torque & power w/o FC penalty are pluses of this bang4buck mod. No splices, no ECU-lying piggybacks.
The hi-compression Skyactivs already come well optimized w/ a 4-2-1 header off the factory, so it's 1 hardware upgrade less to think about. The stock intake is well balanced, too, rendering them aftermarket ones more bling than bang.....The savings you get here can be passed on to other items like mats & the higher variant wheels perhaps????[emoji4]

That's the plan, wait for someone to sell their 19s, and use OVT to offset the increased weight penalty of the heavier 19inchers. [emoji16]

Still can't push myself to go TE37 instead. [emoji879]

Going for the new pizza wheels or the KE's 2-tone? They rarely pop up. Saw a set of M6 19s gone w/in minutes yesterday.[emoji4]

The newer ones, to be "period correct" hehe.

It seems to be a good idea to befriend someone in the dealerahip. Too bad our dealer for delivey is in Pampanga.

If I go the Mazda 6 route, the rubber might be a little bit thin for the CX5?

Just checked it, just under $200 per pc. Very tempting! Problem is the custom duties. Can 2 wheels fit in one Balikbayan box? Hahahaha

But waiting for used 19s from an AWD model straight from the dealer is the most economical method, as it includes rubber already hihihih.

Just took delivery yesterday of my CX5 FWD PRO in Machine Grey! Too bad I can no longer post pics via Tapatalk.

Anyway, I came across this in ebay:

Led daytime running lights for Mazda CX-5 CX5 2017 2018 DRL fog lamp cover | eBay

The problem is, I don't know how to install this. Anyone can suggest an installer?
