Go with him and you'll see twice that speed. I think you need to substract 10 because of the limiter...

Just a remark, I noticed CX-5's speedo is accurate with my GPS device, Dashcam and phone. 100kph on speedo is same on all other devices.

    Not sure with other CX-5s.

Yung saglit na 6k rpm, madali lang yun pero kung sustained/continuous, Idol na kita!

I have observed that most gas cars (AT) will get back to 5rpm when pushed hard to 6k rpm. Maybe it is part of the ECU tuning. Parang sustained lang between 5k to 5.5k rpm.

Medyo easy breezy pa yang 125kmh, puwede ko gawin sa C5 (yung long stretch towards SLEX) basta maluwag. Ask mo si Archerfish ano pakiramdam ng sinagad na Mazda6 diesel, 240kmh daw!

Has anyone here had their iStop battery replaced?

Did you buy from the casa? How much?

Kailangan ba talaga na iStop battery? Spoke to an SA recently, sabi nya di na daw kailangan, pwede na daw regular battery, di lang nga daw mag-operate yung iStop feature. True?

Panasonic, GS Yuasa & Delkor have EFBs available locally at more reasonable prices now. Check their dealers & grab a CTEK CT5 Start/Stop batt conditioner to stretch the life of your new batt. Why do you think Start/Stop equipped cars require EFBs or AGMs? Regular flooded ones can't handle their needs, won't last long. You can try, already been done.

I use mine every chance I have. I bought an extra "comfort connect" for my son's car. I have to say, that connector is ridiculously expensive!

The only consolation is that it has a built-in battery health indicator.

EFB and AGM are different, right? I think I also read somewhere that EFBs are better?

The former Mazda Otis is not selling the iStop Motolite kasi ang bilis daw masira. They switched to a Japanese brand which I can't remember

Once replaced, do I really need to reprogram the iStop? I saw that you already posted a DIY reprogram before pero kailangan ba talaga?

    Thank you

    AGM>EFB>RegFlooded.
MazdaPh pulled the Motolite plug as it seemed their EFBs were just stickers/labels.[emoji12] They lived very short lives. Now on the Nippon GS Yuasa.
iStop relearning randomly needed. Sometimes you get lucky. If iStop works normally after the switch, you're fine. Most batt retailers hook a memory saver upon swapping a new batt in to avoid wiping out some soft electro settings & data.

Among the 3 brands, which do you recommend? GS Yuasa iStop batteries are exclusive to Mazda only, the GS Yuasa distributor can only offer Delkor * Php11,000. For Panasonic, I dealer friend gave me a quote of Php8,700.00

I think that is a great price! Can I be a "friend" to your friend?
    [emoji3]

I have a feeling that I can extend the original battery for several months only in using CTEK. Worst is, a couple of months only.

At the very least, I had it for a minimum of two years compared to others who lasted for a year only. Now I understand why Mazda dropped Motolite.
