2015 Mazda 2

been done a few times. my recommendation? leave the carbon fiber textured middle part for a few reasons:

1. having that space wide open with only a screen mesh is risky. and lack of mount points for the screen may make it flimsy
2. you will see your crashbar every single day.
3. if you wanted to look like the 3D grille for cx5 then i'd say you failed.

all those points aside, it's still up to you what you want the car to look like. these are just my two cents having seen and worked with a few modded grilles myself. i personally would just put screen for the top, middle and bottom openings to prevent debris and leaves from getting in.
one friend had the top fins with the emblem removed, and then i put screen on it. still looks good and close to stock.
