As I know of, you are not supposed to use tap water or purified drinking water. It contains minerals which may corrode aluminum engine block. Use only distilled water.

The minerals form into scale that decreases heat transfer. You're correct on distilled water being ideal.

Yup, its not corrosion but the frequent boiling and cooling may cause the dissolved minerals to crystallize and form scales (the hard yellow-red-orange stuff you see inside your thermos and hot water kettles). It can then block the radiator or worse the coolant passages of your engine.

My PDR buddy is now in Australia. Was just lucky the 'fruit punch' dent happened while he was home on vacation.
I'm sure there are good PDR guys local to you, sir. Perhaps guys on here can point.

How's your M2, peeps? I've been seeing a lot of M3s both sedan and hatch but not much of M2.

May nakakasabay ako tuwing umaga na white Mz2 sedan sa Commonwealth Ave. Pero bihira pa rin nga ang Mz2 sa mga kalsada. Well kahit naman yung Mz3 lately ko lang nakikita even though last year pa sila nilabas.

Already joined the Mazda2ner forum and FB page, pero di ako nakapunta sa last Sunday's EB. Malayo kasi eh tapos may emergency pa sa bahay.
