Sometimes names (and specs) have to be changed according to the local scenes. laws and tastes: e.g. Pajero is obscene in Spanish so they changed it to Montero in Spanish-speaking countries, the Honda City was named Honda Jazz in Europe because Opel already had the City, meanwhile the Honda Jazz is a re-badged Isuzu Trooper/Mu in Japan, while the Philippine Jazz is the Japanese Fit and so on. And of course the Mz2 and Mz3 is called the Demio and Axela in Japan respectively.

Oh lets not forget our Mz2's ancestor the Mazda 121 aka Ford Festiva aka Kia Pride.

Makes me wonder if Toyota will release the M2 as 4th gen Vios here in Pinas. Like the 86/BRZ partnership with Subaru

Toyota already has a distinct Vios/Yaris platform for SE Asia. And the local market is too small it can't support 2 brands of the same model, unless its a high-end product (86/BRZ) or specs are so distinct from each other (Chevy TBZ/Isuzu Mu-X).

The Sky Yaris isn't a pretty sibling....Can't just rely on that T badge to sell.....They'd have to tweak pricing, add freebies, offer a longer yojin, make some deal w/ the devil to compete w/ the 2 so endowed w/ natural beauty.

Thanks sir Yatta. Kung sa wide tires, ano kaya kaya natin na hindi masyadong lalabas ung gulong? May trip ako na mags, 17" x 7.5. Sa M2 ko ngaun, 16"x5.5 ang nakakabit.

Yeah this happens when you shift from N to D then you step on the pedal. You think this is normal for automatics?

if that's the case, yes it is normal for AT.
May delay kasi ang gear engagement when you shifted from N to D.
If the rpm increases with accelerator pedal application prior to gear engagement mararamdaman mo yung jerk..
Actually this is the same jerk na ramdam mo kapag nakatapak ka sa brake when you shifted to D - mahina nga lang..
Lumalakas lang ito kapag nagapply ka agad ng accel pedal.. kasi may motion to move na rin ang car..

This is my first time to buy a car kya gusto ko rin malaman kung ano ung mga tips nyo in dealing with SAs.

I will also be re-located in Marilao kya mas preferred ko sna sa bandang North na dealers kumuha. TIA.
