Mix of Quirino Hiway and Commonwealth Ave. I get between 8-9km/L.

My daily route of 3 to 4 hours is from Commonwealth ave to C5 BGC area, and my 2.0 Mazda3 averages between 7 to 8 km/L. Compared to your Mazda2's best fuel economy for heavy traffic, that's roughly around 1.5 liter of savings for every 100 km (12.5L/100km for M3, 11L/100km for M2).

I was hoping at least the 1.5L Skyactiv engine can give at least 9 or 10km/L.

Traffic is bad now. Before they started on the MRT-3 construction I was gettimg between 10-12 km/L.

Oh and I'm always on Sportmode so maybe that also explains it.

Aha! So probably without sportmode the 1.5L Skyactiv can give at least 10km/L or more. That would be 2 liters of gas savings for every 100km when compared with my M3's fuel economy. That's good enough.

10 is doable, but that might be stretching it. 9 would be more realistic with the current conditions.

Have the dealership check it out for you. Something maybe loose or rubbing.
That's good justification for Android Auto...have them do the huntdown upon module install.[emoji4]

I hear a rattle upfront too. Parang may naiiwan mid-air and then tapping on something, turns out the stab-link is shot.
