Anyone experience having their brakes groan when slowly released from a full stop? Also happens at slopes. Have had this ssue the first week of owning the car but never bothered to have it checked.

EDIT: Sound is more pronounced when brakes are wet btw.

mileage of your vehicle? age?

caliper pins probably doesnt have enough grease or its somewhat dry

they dont drag later on because the heat warms them up and sliding is easier.

What are your wheel specs? 17x7 or 7.5? What offset? 215/45 will fit. Comfort level will naturally drop a bit w/ the lower aspect ratio, but it won't be bad. Choice of tires will matter, too.

Sadly the seller doesn't know the width of the wheels. But I think it's 17x8. Will it fit?

I have another question, do you recommend LED headlights or Nightbreaker lasers?

Here's a basic relative guide to color temps measured in kelvin rating. Higher Kelvin rating will be closer to a blue than yellow.
Candlelight is around 1500K
Sunrise and sunset at 3000K
Daylight at 5000K
Standard halogen at around 3200K
Philips X-treme Vision +130 at 3400K
Philips White Vision at 4300K

Note that in rain or fog, yellow light will cut through better than white.

I got myself the philips xtreme vision +130%. The manual says i need to remove the screws inside the wheelwell and access the socket from there. I read here somewhere that it can be accessed from the engine bay.

Engine bay. Unplug the connector, remove the dust cap, unlock the hinged wire clip holding the H4 halogen & pull the bulb out.....install in reverse order. Hold by the metal ring, not the glass part.

Done! Light is noticeably whiter than stock. Low beam has farther reach. High beam seems the same though it's rarely used. I wonder how much an HID kit for mazda2 would cost.

The totl headlights? I saw someone selling on facebook at 36k pre-order. I’m also interested cause i got the v variant.

Please note that JDM RHD headlamps differ from our LHD ones. Different part numbers...Plus, the lower variant w/ halogen has different ESU settings. It's not going to be a simple plugNplay swap.

even assuming wattage and lumen being equal, some rhd headlamps throw a significantly different beam, compared to lhd ones.
rhd reflectors are better suited for cars driven on our wrong side of the road.
