I'm contemplating on having one installed din but for now, ok pa naman ang rear sensor hehe..

Yep. Planning to have it installed after Christmas. This weekend sana pero scheduled for 1k PMS kasi ako and ayokong pumunta don na late especially because of the expected Christmas traffic.

Extra security lang ang cam especially when backing out of the garage.

    Will post pics ASAP

What? Kinalas pa ang bumper? Are we commiting a violation by using ordinary screws? Although I understand na added security din ito against theft. I was observing the other cars sa mall parking and a lot of them don't use the LTO screws

Full tank Fuel Save last Saturday. After 110+ kms of daily C5 driving bumaba na finally by one bar kanina pag-alis ko sa bahay. Pagdating ko sa office back to full na ulit. Will full tank again this Saturday. Gusto kasi ni bunso ng bagong Lego.

it's ok not to use the LTO provided screws up front but keep them inside the glove box para pag sinita may maipapakita.

Ganun actually ang ginawa ko. I just keep it sa glove compartment. The problem with these LTO screws, aside from mounting, is kapag nabangga ang front bumper and you need to have it repaired/repainted/replaced it would be difficult to remove the plates

Better than a subcompact pero it's not the quietest compact out there. Kung gusto mo tahimik you might want to look at the Sylphy or Altis.

Nasa SLEX kami nun.

compared to my other car which is a Fiesta, the Mazda 3 is noisier, pero para sakin hindi naman problem since malakas ako magpatugtog ng radyo, haha

Mas pronounced yung road noise sa highway.

The Christmas traffic is killing my FC. Dati 6.6 L/100km, ngayon 7.4 na lang

You could replace the stock tires with quieter ones.

I was stuck in a heavy traffic last night and as I monitor the fuel consumption (Fuel Economy monitor) of the current drive, I registered almost 67L/100KM. The distance traveled was only 3KM for 1.5 hours (2kph ave), is 1.49KPL acceptable for the 2.0 in this scenario? I've engaged the i-stop for about 8-10 times throughout, lasting only ~30 seconds each time.

You were basically idling with the AC on for 1.5 hours so I think it makes sense.

Kapag matulin na takbo mo. I think 80+kph medyo noticeable na IIRC.

Thanks JohnM. I was just wondering if my experience last night still belongs to the heavy/intense traffic as most would report an FC of anything below 4kpl very poor.

About the aircon, I usually set it in the middle (25 deg). If the general temperature is cold and I set it above 25 deg (i.e. within the red bars), would it engage the heater of the aircon already instead of the cooler?

To those with the 2.0 (different tires from the 1.5), is the cabin noise on the high side?
