Hi!
Anyone can refer a good suspension specialist shop? Yung M3 ko kase may issue with uneven rear height... Whether on stock wheels or inde, mas mataas yung rear right side ko when compared to left rear. Measured difference of about 1.5cm from mid fender lip to outer edge of tire sidewall. I already approached casa but they cant do anything to resolve it.
I approached Motech in Sumulong, cant help din. I tried to show them this link from a forum - (SUSPENSION) Solution for uneven rear ride height - RX7Club.com - Mazda RX7 Forum
Yung nagpost dun has a similar issue as mine... Maybe di ma absorb ng Motech yung steps kaya nagdecline sila to assist me.
Meron na ba nagreport dito ng uneven rear height/gap sa M3 nila. Would appreciate it if anyone could share or can refer/channel me to a suspension shop who could help my m3.
Thanks!!
Are you absolutely sure the pavement/floor where the car was parked upon measuring was perfectly level? The slightest slope can tilt & throw wheel gaps off. Are you experiencing any pulling while driving? Is the steering wheel off-center?

yes sir travs. My garage is level po and kahit din po sa motech ganun din. They did measure and confirmed uneven po rear height. Slight off center po steering wheel and I did sent my m3 to tireking marxos highway for alignment to no avail. I have recently read in other forums na inde po solution yung alignment for this specific issue. Im not sure what pulling while driving means po. But i do experience na parang dinuduyan ako while cruising on highways... even on stock wheels pa ganun na sya....[emoji22]

No issues din daw as per the 2 places I have beent to. Silip silip lang ginawa ni casa and Motech. One mentioned that the gas tank if full or almost full causes the height imbalance...(i dont buy it though)... Motech on the other hand said that it's sakit of Mazdas daw and it could be part of the chassis when it was assembled.... (I also didn't buy this excuse....)
Haizzz... guys, coilovers na ba ako? Frankly, I dont wish to go that route... I do not track at all... and i am not a DIY person who can adjust them when I need to. I'm just a gal who wants to have a good ride and enjoy the twisties every now and then sa Tanay or somewhere else I can run with my M3.

Possible kasi na masyado nag-sag/na-pitpit ang spring sa side na yun. Usually the driver side sags a bit more than the passenger side because, well yun yung side nq laging may sakay. So pwedeng Mazda designed it such that kapag may pasahero ka na, pantay na siya.

I know some makes do that w/ specific performance models...& those who seriously track corner balance relative to track conditions w/o regard for even wheel gaps. That said, ours has been pretty even from day 1, sir. Stock & post-stock conditions, loaded or not. There must be some worn or badly seated component/s causing all that.

Yesterday I went to various shell stations around Pasig and QC to buy Helix Ultra 5W-30. Out of 4 branches I went to, only one station was selling the 5W-30 (and only 1 stock was left, 1 liter only). Is this oil really that rare?
I noticed that the Helix 5W-40 is much easier to find compared to 5W-30, plenty of stock. Would there be an issue with using 5W-40 for the Skyactiv?
Other than Shell Helix, are there better alternatives? I don't mind the price tag as long as the quality is better than Shell.
40 is more common. Stick w/ 5w-30 FS. Sky requires thinner. Mazda even specifies 20 for temperate regions. Few Shell stations stock it. Years back when this spec was difficult to find retail, I'd bring my own containers & get Castrol Edge Professional from the local Bimmer dealership. Price was reasonable, competitive. Now, BMW is using the same Shell as Mazda.
