***I forgot to mention on my initial post that the scratch was on the piano black shift gear panel.
I thought its on the outside. I would just leave it alone. But if you are OC then get a replacement panel. No other way.

That's exactly what I was thinking while staring at it. Tanggap ko swirl marks or hairline pero medyo deep siya and I have no idea how I got it. Ang ingat ko pa naman sa kotse.[emoji30]

Wear and tear is normal naman sa kotse...

At least, now, you won't be so irritated the next time magkagalos yung kotse hehehehe.

Yeah but still looking for ways to cut the pattern properly. A self healing clear wrap. [emoji1]

Best to remove the plate. There are pre-cut faux CF stick-ons, but not really a fan.[emoji4]

Kindly keep us updated sir. I'm also annoyed at the piano black finish as it is very scratch-prone. Ang dami nang hairline scratches ng sa akin. [emoji58] There's even a couple of deep scratches. [emoji58]

I'm contemplating several options like a clear wrap or carbon fiber wrap, but I'd like to hear from your experience first. [emoji16]

Plenty over eBay. Some vendors like Lamson+639185353975 should have for the 3. Won't be long for the new CX, I'm guessing...[emoji4]

I'm also not a fan of CF. I'll just wait for the clear wrap.

If yours is a 3hatch, go Racing Beat bolt-on axleback instead. That's the exhaust brand MazdaUSA has been using for the SEMA 3, 6 & MX5 entries.
For more details, please PM. Thanks.

Meron po bang dealer na nag-uupgrade ng infotainment firmware. I have a 3-year old mazda3 1.5 hatch with infotainment firmware v.31.00.100. For the past 3 years, I've asking mazda Alabang if they can update the firmware and they always say that they don't have firmware updates yet. I know that we can download it from the web but I'd rather they do it for me as I'm afraid of bricking my infotainment.

Same here. Kakainis nang tumawag sa casa dito. I love my car, don't get me wrong. Pero the lack of oem accessories and support is really disappointing. I also inquired before if they upgrade the infotainment and got the same answer as you. But what's weird is when I asked about the SD card/Navi, ichcheck daw muna nila if your infotainment is a particular version, if not, they will upgrade the firmware first (kala ko ba di sila naguupgrade?). Tsaka nakareserve daw ang sd card for the new units. How hard is it to have some sd cards in stock for those interested in buying di ba?

Then I also inquired about them having an OEM backup camera for the 2014 Mazda3. Wala daw. Sabi pa nga they tried it before pero walang abang na wire daw ang 2014 units(wtf?!). They only had a camera wherein the video will show on the rearview mirror (?!). I said that I have an aftermarket camera which was just plug & play. Meaning meron naman talagang abang na wiring kasi sa ibang bansa may camera naman talaga. I just wanted to inquire their price kasi the one I have (bought from Lamson) kinda looks foggy kahit anong linis sa lens.

Very disappointed lang talaga sa Mazda Philippines when it comes to that aspect.

Sad to say totoo yan. Well in reality tingin ko too much tech for them to process. And perhaps they couldn't afford a tech person per dealer who is knowledgeable in terms of Mazda tech. However you can try the customer service of Mazda Philippines via email muna. They have better knowledge of the system. Then ask them to refer you to a dealer where they can do your required job.
