Anyway, there isn't much that can be done about it so I'll just have it installed when I get the car plates. Thanks again, as always you give sound advice.
Which dealer? Lupit naman nun sa strictness

Wondering what are those horror stories? And did i read correctly, license plate damage? Not body or bumper damage? How could license plate damages be connected to yoijin and warranty? Does the relocator damage the bumper ba? Or block majority of the air that it affects the cooling system?

Possible damages from the relocator location i can see are people/motorcycles crossing in front of the car na pwede sila sumabit easily that can damage the bumper or body aside from the relocator kit and plate itself. Or it gets hit from road obstacles, but if those happened, di naman talaga under warranty yun, own damage yun.

I'd understand if they void yoijin or warranty if i put an aftermarket audio system, since you will touch the car's harness and essentially dismantle the interior of the car. If installer isn't a pro, may masisira talaga.

But plate relocator? Damn they might as well void yoijin and warranty for attaching mcdo vip sticker

Hahaha. Funny but very sensible take, balong sir. I was wondering the same. The kit has long been tested for airflow & temps. Had logs of coolant & Intake Air Temps of it on & off thru my OBD hooked gauge & they showed no noticeable differences in any of the possible drive (spirited, static, twisties, straights) & weather conditions. These were concerns I personally had, so I dug.
On bumper damage possibly from the kit? I believe I would be the 1st to be informed of such should there have been any. I'm grateful not to have heard of 1 & I pray to hopefully not.
Hot Hatch even shared w/ us the opposite....about how the relocator saved his plate upon coming off an abnormally steep ramp that hurts bumpers. The purpose of the backplate that the kit comes w/ is to protect that wimpy, flimsy LTO plate from such unfriendly bumps.
Against floods? I'd worry more about the car than any other part should 1 decide to brave em. ...I seriously won't test the car for its amphibious abilities...I'm fine not knowing. Haha:D
Who knows, grover's may just have been a case of the service manager having a bad day, an upset stomach, or whatever else beyond logic we can suspect.

Guys, noticed my hobo hatchback likes to squeak on bumps when raining around the strut towers if i'm not mistaken. Will be having my 1st year pms soon and I'm thinking to have this checked. Is there a documented fix for this, a rubber part which can be requested from mazda?

Congrats to the ecstatic victims of Sudden Unintended Mutation!

I just followed the intsructions brah. Using just a wrench and screwdriver, it's DIYable. Heheh. If we meet-up, I'll help him install it.

Them looking OE is a common comment....
Thanks & a good week ahead, grover sir.
Was planning to hit two birds with one stone by having the plate relocator installed when getting the Mz3 from the dealer. Seems its not necessary though as there are some kind souls offering their help. Have a great week too sir Travs.

I believe its the same dealer from whom Sir Yatta got his Mazda 2, I recall his posting several times to warn about PMS due dates. The service manager and the sales manager gave conflicting stories as the latter said it was ok (even said they installed aftermarket car horns for a fee and that a plug and play reverse camera should not be a problem). Unfortunately its probably the service manager's call when it comes to the application of the Yojin3. I remember the service manager mention damaged license plates when passing through humps and that several customers had their plate relocators removed. Anyway, its not a big deal and there are even tsikoteers willing to help.

Yes Sir Justdiy, UPSE to be specific. Do you hold office in UP Diliman? I was there earlier today but had a meeting and had to leave early to avoid the lantern parade traffic. Will text you sir just in case we have a common schedule. TIA.

The service manager probably had his hands full as the place was packed tight with cars due for release. What struck me was that he said the exact opposite of what the sales manager told me. Anyway, as I said its probably much ado about nothing.

Just wondering what that service manager must've been smoking. The relocators of both the M3 & the M2 were deliberately designed to sit above the aero lip.
He must've removed not just relocated plates but aero kits, too?????😱😨🙅

The M3 kit sitting above aero lip...

The M2 kit above aero lip...

Sigh. Worry not about it, grover sir. justdiy is just around your corner.

The rubber spring protectors/insulators (OE Part#: KDY534081) silence clunks that pop upon hitting bumps on slow speeds.
I'm starting to think the rain-induced squeaks, w/c are not Mazda-specific, are a different phenomenon. These might be bushes on the sway bar, control arm or just endlinks. Try spraying some silicone grease on those moving frictional parts individually, kirito brah.
Hope you can share & archive the huntdown & remedy.
