I clean the car everyday, too much dust where I'm living 😞, if it won't rain, I just use a microfiber duster, if it rains kahit na konti lng, I wash the car, sometimes I wonder baka sa sobrang wash ko ay baka masira ang paint 😥😥😥
Maxx here, to me, ranks higher in deceitful names than the mazda3 speed. I innocently thought twas some special limited edition or something. Me, the hobo gullible.....i couldn't believe they extended the MZR's run.
I'm almost positive though that every Maxx Mown3r out there was not lectured thoroughly on what SkyActiv is all about. This honestly saddens me.![]()
The thing is, I think majority of car buyers don't care what's under the hood. I'd bet that most drivers in PH don't even know the compression ratio of the car they are driving, or even know what that means. Even if you tell them that skyactiv has 13:1/14:1 ratio, that won't give as much impact as saying that this unit is a lot cheaper.
I believe you can buy the 1.6 MZR Maxx at around 100k less than the 1.5l Sky in cash. For me, it is still a good alternative especially if you are shopping around for subcompacts. Also, 100k is a lot of money. For some (including me), that's already 2 years worth of gas.
Just my opinion sir trav. i don't have a 3rd gen yet, hopefully by next year :D
Truly respect opinions, aRTie sir!
I will never pretend to be gifted w/ marketing savvy.
I'm sure Mazda has to fill the gaps to cover competition & the void left by unavailability of Sky units....& Maxx owners will never know what they're missing.....
Is ignorance really bliss?
This 1 is for Berjaya to answer!:D
Yes, I agree sir Travs, mzr Maxx owners will never know what they're missing.
Brah, Boss Steven already answered this question on the FB group.
But, the Maxx model today has very nice looking rims! Looks better than what the 1.5V has. Saw one display model at V-Mall Greenhills and my friend, who has a 1.5V HB said "Bakit mas maganda rims nito kesa sa akin eh hindi naman ito Skyactiv?"
The rim is multi spoke in gunmetal finish. The size, 16"...
Di ba steelies ang Maxx? Baka nga upgraded na yun. One issue with the MZR engine is its subpar fuel consumption coupled with its relatively low power vis-a-vis the heavy 2nd-gen Mz2 body. Maybe coupling it with the lighter Sky-Activ body will be able to get decent FC figures.
