So, to appease my OCD, I hooked my scangauge fulltime.... logged coolant, intake temps w/ & w/o the relocator.....in standstill traffic jams, up the slopes, twisties & long straights..spiritedly...during awefully hot days as well. Surprisingly, I never found them to be beyond working temps.
I've had the relocator on a year now & I've never seen 3 digit temps hit this M3 that I've seen in my other cars. I'm amazed at the cooling system & this is a high compression engine!
Had I seen anything alarming, I'd be the 1st to run as far away from this mod.
Look into the bumper, you'll see lotsa room for air. This relocator lets the plate sit way out front free of the bumper lip, too. I believe that helped.
If you compare the M6 lower grille+plate, you'll see there isn't much difference. It may even draw less air by having the plate bolted onto the bumper face.

Thanks for the interest, sir, & for bringing up this vital point that was my 1st & foremost concern. I hope I had addressed the question, sir tolits.
Exactly the reason why I am holding back on plate relocation but you proved there is nothing to worry about, travajante sir. I want one... ASAP! =)

Hi sir, planning to purchase mine at Mazda North Edsa kasi yun ang pinakamalapit. I see so sa accessories lang babawi. Sige thanks for the tip!

Try Ms. Rocel Magallanes, sabihin mo recommended ni Paul yung kumuha ng Mz2. Wala talaga discounts kasi di nga nila ma-fill-up yung demand so prepare to wait (yung isa nga waited 2 months). But the Yojin3 program I think more than makes up for the lack of discounts.

Regarding the plate relocator, i'd love to have one but my plate is screwed (pun intended) with the new lto screws, can this still be removed, and also what to do with the nasty drill holes exposed?? Also wary that the plate will be sitting lower than the bumper, as it is sumasayad na sya in our inclined garage. Your thoughts dear mown3rs

How are yah, kirito brah? I just had the same exact question PM'd.
My OCD preference would be bumper removal to unscrew those nuts from behind. A dremel or worse, a drill, can do a quick risky messy trick in bolt head shaving, but I know you might samurai yourself for scarring the plate or the grille!
If you still got that fart of a horn, this is the perfect time to hit 2 birds w/ a shot.
The plate backer is pre-drilled to sit just a tiny tad below that front bumper edge. You can drill new holes to bring the backer higher or lower, whichever your preference may be.
Had mine on for a lil over a year now. It has withstood everything it has seen & remained pristine.
I sensed Mazda kinda tried to uglify their Masterpiece3 so not to outclass the higher 6. They succeeded, but I just couldn't concede defeat....
Can you, kirito brah? Thanks much for chiming. Everyone's 2cents are always welcome!👍

First 3m tints up front cause the only free from Mazda are the sides, back and front visor [emoji22] then that ugly sounding horn needs to be replaced. I'll probably have my roof foiled for that panoramic effect plus dechrome the grills with foil too. LED fogs and that's it for now haha

Great tasteful plans, jp sir. For OCD clean roof wrapping, I've always advised tucking the vinyl into the gutter rails & weatherstrips front & back. Careful w/ the clips upon rail removal. Here's a basic how to:

Do the grille dechrome together w/ the horn upgrade. While I did the lazy cut by not removing the chrome trim off the grille, it would be cleaner doing them off. You'll see how to release when you see the grille's back side.

Your statement about being it for now is very true. Deep inside, you seem to know where you're headed. Watch out, sir.....that slope is extremely slippery. Mutation inevitable.:D
