Guys got the pics thru my samsung s3, how can i upload it to this thread, can anyone help? Thnks
Hi, pictures to follow.
For the past few days habagat flood, na binyagan agad. Water tight doors.
There was a part na nag skid na ang rear tires dahil sa baha.
hindi na lang ako kumibo at baka matakot ang mga pasahero ko.
tsaka ko na alala naka lutang yun likod, switch to 4x4 for more traction.
nasa harap yun bigat.
Ang kaba ko lang ay side mirror. Kailangan pasadya na ng sikwat protector.
compatible ata sa ranger ang salamin, and sa dami ng ranger,
dadami din demand sa mga baklas side mirror.

initial data and observation:
stock dunlop AT tires * 35psi
Solo city driving traffic 13~15 L/100K
(computer: average speed was 10KPH)
reseted computer for break-in.
5-1/2 passengers and baggages at the back.
subic trip averages consumption 8.9L/100K
(computer: averages speed 45KPH)
on cruise control
100 KPH/ engine rpm 1500rpm patag
100 KPH/ engine rpm 1750rpm medyo inclined.
using GPS, actual speed logged was 95~96KPH.
smooth and quiet ang cabin on tarmac..
(it was a windy day, and not very precise
if the BT-50 is cruising with the wind or against the wind)
Lots of dead insects in your front grill and hood after passing pampanga area.
BTW : engine is 3.2L , regular Shell fuel save diesel.
My Acceleration:
. After break-in na siguro,
. It seems kaya mag 100kph in 10s,
. More G-force in 4H mode.
. (D gear + sports mode)
On the day I went for PMS at Hyundai Central Edsa, I saw a BT-50 parked outside Mazda Greenhills. Didn't really get to look at it well because I was in a moving car, but I didn't like how the signal lights completed the fascia. Anyhow, I'm hoping it was just a bad first look, and that seeing your actual pix changes my impression.
I have to admit, Ranger and Colorado looks better on the outside. More muscular & tougher.
Ranger was my 1st choice. Saw the interior during the car show. Not bad.
After months of waiting, only the 2.2L came, & their mass marketing strategy,
closure of their Santa Rosa plant, made me change my mind.
.
Hmm... the post I just made got tagged for moderator approval. Weird, didn't say anything offensive naman.
Anyhow, pogi yung BT-50 na puti. Very macho. Yes, the Wildtrak shrunk when put in the middle of two BT-50s.
If I may make a suggestion, get your white BT-50 fender flares painted OEM white to match your ride. They don't have to be outlandish. Something as subtle as those on the Wildtrak will do. These will make the BT-50 a bit wider -- wide enough to meet the wider tires.![]()
Have a correction
on cruise control
75~80 KPH/ engine rpm 1500rpm patag
for the 3.2L
To those who have tried also the ford ranger, may pagkaiba ba ang ride between the bt50 and the ranger?
Upload that pics to ImageShack® or any free photo hosting sites.

Wow! Macho! Bad*$$!
May I suggest adding fender flares? Since you upgraded your tires to wider ones, they're sticking out more, unlike on your father in law's unit na medyo sakto lang ang pagkalitaw ng stock tires. Getting flares as subtle as the ones on your bro's Wildtrak will make your BT-50 slightly wider and will complement your bigger tires, IMO.
