If mazda can introduce these new engines immediately in major markets to their best selling models like the Mazda 3, then with a 20% improvement in FC(15% from engine, 5% from transmission) and 25% for diesel variants, then IMHO, Mazda is really serious in catching-up with the current class leaders in Fuel Efficiency.

Anyway, nice find sir parakito. These are the new family of Mazda engines I've been waiting for.

ser i think its enough to propel Mazda into the top of the heap (of non-hybrid) category... yung sa Mazda6 (US version) na 3.7li V6 has better observed Fuel economy daw compared to Honda Accord 3.5li w/VCM....dahil ata din sa 6speed yung sa Mazda and 5lang yung sa Honda..... also yung 2.5li gas, 2.2li turbo diesel nila ay the 2.3li DISI Turbo are on par with the others out there....
