Hm... it now looks a lot more like the previous RX7... not necessarily a bad thing IMO...
danda.. sana upgarde din nila ang engine. hopefully mazdaspeed turbo AWD,tapos not more than 2Mphp sa Mazda dealers(w/c is doubtful)

I like the new headlights and rims, but dislike everything else. The car now looks too busy and fussy. The RX-8's previous subtle Italianate beauty is just gone...and mind you I'm a huge fan of this rotary rocket.
Worse, that rear bumper looks like it's sitting way too high because all the cuts on its bottom edge aren't painted in black any more.
Performance-wise I hear the engines stay in the same state of tune. Mazda fettled with the transmission though, and gave it a lower final drive ratio to improve acceleration. Fair enough.

type_100 is right, the bumper is too high.
Mas maganda sana kung available din yan dito! hehehehe! pero diba may mga nagbebenta niyan dito na used? san kaya sila nakakakuha ng parts? trip na trip ko yung auto na yan eh!![]()

di ko type ang labas, masyado OA. but i like the suicide door concept. it joins the best of both worlds of being a coupe and a saloon. di lang pampamilya, pang sports pa.
takaw lang talaga sa gas. saka high maintenance because of the rotary
papaano naging high maintenance? 4 na naging koche ko na may rotary engine and lahat yun halos kaparehas lang ng maintenance ng ibang makina. hanggang ngayon, I still have my RX8, RX7 (FC) and AE86 (13B swap) and all of them are maintained the same way you would maintain any other engine. oil change, and tune ups. and as far as reliablility, my FC has racked 130K and still pulling strong, on all original internals. The RX8 is almost at the 80K mark and still no issues except for the slipping clutch which is due anytime soon.
