^^^ You can use with only GPS on but you need data connection for it to be useful.

waze user here for almost 2yrs. hirap waze sa makati kasi sa dami ng buildings, hindi makakuha nang tamang position. sa qc ok siya. for it to be really useful, kailangan maraming gumagamit and naka-on, ubos lang nga sa battery. also, contribute by editing the map

Waze user din ako. Shifted from OSMand+. Ok naman ang Waze pero mas useful siya kung may data connection. Ang isa sa ayaw ko nga lang is hindi agad agad nauupdate ang traffic situation sa isang area.

Parang pang QC lang waze. Pag dating sa makati, wala ng silbi.

Waze user din ako since 2011

Currently using waze for more than a year, it has helped me already in a couple of tight situations, specially last December. Useful sya if madami nagrereport, naka on line ka and traffic. The alternative routes can surprise me sometimes, but it works. Pero pag sa provincial roads I rely more on the car's navigation

Waze works really well. I use it extensively when I feel that the roads are clogged.

You have to understand how it suggests routes though - there have been times that I was led to pass side streets even if the main roads weren't clogged anymore, because the last data submitted was about 2 hrs old already.

Also, it's quite an amusing game to flag any accidents, enforcers, or whatnot. Overall, anyone with a car, a smartphone, an unli data plan, and a car charger should definitely have this

My only issue to using Waze is the battery drain.

You definitely need a car charger.

Waze helps me identify clogged routes. If I see that there's traffic on those usual routes I take, I take the alternate routes. It is very helpful, but distracting. You can't help but keep on looking and updating Waze.

I have my smartphone always plugged in on the charger when using Waze. GPS and mobile data will drain your battery just as fast as playing candy crush or checking out mobile facebook.

I often follow Waze's suggested route, but there were times where I didn't follow the suggested route because it was taking me somewhere else. I ended up getting stuck on the road due to standstill traffic for hours. Other notable times when I did follow it's route over my not so usual route were when it rained hard and flooded the streets a couple of times last year. I got home an hour later than usual but others were stuck on the road for 4-5 hours

Use Nokia Here Drive instead. Hindi pa kailangan ng 3G connection and covers almost major countries around the Globe. Subok ko na.
