RORO trips - how many hours??

Just would like to ask those who has taken the SRNH route to mindanao:

how may hours does it take for the ff RORO routes?

1. Batangas pier to MIndoro.
2. Roxas, mindoro to Caticlan.
3. Iloilo to Bacolod
4. Dumaguete to Dapitan city

oldies na yata mga ferry dito, wheras sa matnog-allen may 2 ferry doon na kaya ng 45 mins compared sa philtranco operated na maharlika aabot sya ng
2 1/2 hours..

plan ko kasi from cdo-dapitan-negros-panay-mindoro-batangas.
if kakayahin ng powers ko...

lipat na kasi ako ulet sa manila job.

you paid 13,800 for shipping your corolla to CDO from manila then... hmm..

I just inquired or read somewhere that from cebu to manila will cost now 18k then if from zambo it's 24k....

kaya nga buti pa I-land trip na lang perang yan at napasyal mo pa pilipinas...

sir of you really wanna try to expirience land trip, then kelangan prepared kayo for the worst thing that will to your car .. las december nag landtrip kami to bohol via RORO (bicol samar leyte) .. advice ko lang avoid samar route, bring MAPs local and philippine map, include nyo narin visayan and mindanao map ..

make sure that you know the schedule of the RORO (departure and arrival)
hindi lahat ng route every hour ang biyahe .. sometimes twice a day only ..
-bring foods
-have someone na pwedeng mag-drive (pamalit sa driver if ever non-stop ang byahe..)
-always make sure that the GAS is always on full..
-wag basta-basta mag tanong ng direction specially in mindanao ..
and wag pahalata na tourist ka ..
-bring some extra bulbs,fuses,fluids,meds etc..
-always inform somebody your whereabouts ..
-much better if you have foglamps or switch to allweather bulbs..
(iba-iba kasi ang weather sa visayas and mindanao ..
-always lock doors
-be sure to check B.L.O.W.B.A.G
-have your car an oil change before you depart ..(based on my expirience kasi halfway palang mejo lumapot na ang oil ..
-bring flashlights and warning devices
-remove all unecessary stickers in your car (like LTO PNP TMG stickers.. di safe lalo na in NPA populated towns)
-much better if may kasama kang iba (convoy) mas safe incase of breakdown ..
-sir if your car has stepboard or running board better if tanggalin muna kasi sa RORO delikado .. Yung trooper ko nga nag si-saw dahil sumayad yung stepboard sa roro ..
-be prepared, kasi for sure laspag ang suspension mo pag uwi ..

advice ko lang always choose MONTENEGRO ships ..
mas mabilis barko nila compared to other lines ..

Paano sumayad yung stepbpard sa RORO? my ride has stepboard also but after 3 years of use dipa naman natamaan.... Thanks..

sir depende po sa pier and sa barko .. di pareha lahat .. sumayad yung sakin dahil umalon ng konti .. bumaba konti yung barko pag alon tpos ayun sumayad po ..

sir depende po sa pier and sa barko .. di pareha lahat .. sumayad yung sakin dahil umalon ng konti .. bumaba konti yung barko pag alon tpos ayun sumayad po ..

Dagdag ko lang----depende din sa tide. Kon low tide masyadong steep ang plank so malaki chance sasayad dahil sa approach angle.
