kung galing ka ng PHILCOA sakay ka ng bus papuntang baclaran tapos baba ka na mismo sa Evangelista Jolibee at McDonalds to your right ang landmarks mo pag nasa EDSA. Marami na doong tireshops. Lakad-lakad ka na lang.
from PHILCOA to BLUMENTRITT di ko kabisado. alam ko lang pag galing ako ng PASAY :-)

eh... wag kang mag-secondhand! Champiros are relatively cheap, if uninspired alternatives to expensive 17" tires.
But if you really need to get to evang:
Kung galing kang Philcoa, fastest is mag-bus ka sa EDSA, get on the MRT and get off at Magallanes. hoof it across the footbridge under the Magallanes interchange and take a short walk to Evang (sa may Jollibee at McDo na magkaharap)... there are jeeps at the intersection following EDSA..
Blumentritt may LRT station... just switch to the LRT from the MRT at EDSA-Taft.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

October 29th, 2004 12:21 PM #5galing kasi ako ng cubao mga tire shops dun wala silang stock na second hand na 225/50R17. based on my experience wala naman akong problema sa second hand kaso lang malas ko dunlop nabili ko talagang bumubukol! so hindi ko na kukunin yun brand na yun. mas mura ba sa evangelista at blumentrit kesa sa cubao or worth it ba sya pasyalan considering the distance from PHILCOA at dun kumuha kahit malayo baka kasi mamaya nyan pareho lang yun gastos ko lahat lahat na pagod ko pa at gasolina diba parang ganun.

boydapa if you're budget concious like me hehehe try mong yung FALKEN SINCERA series. ok sya at mura. i think you can buy them sa cubao or evangelista. kung second hand, marami sa evangelista at mura talaga pero ingat lang kasi may mga binebenta sila na inukit lang yung tires to look good.

based on our experience its worth the long drive going to evangelista. mas mura and madaming choices. madali lang naman puntahan yun eh. if you're coming from edsa derecho ka lang and after the flyover in the magallanes area turn right at the first mcdonalds corner you see then go staraight lang. nasa bandang dulo kasi yung mga tires.
