The least expectation I have is less potholes which I have experienced in a previous trip. As pointed out by a previous comment, the severe pothole condition along Andaya near Sipocot area got worse due to recent rains. Someone did pointed out that the condition was not that worse last Undas.

As in malalim ang lubak.

Last nov 2 yung byahe ko dyan maganda pa road condition. mahina talaga quality ng gawa kaya lagi na lang nasisira saka gatasan yan. you know what i mean.

Instead of taking Andaway hiway , I took the 60km 1.5hrs drive on the curvy Maharlika hiway thru Daet and Sta Elena today on my trip back to Manila. Less headaches compared to Andaya, very few potholes only and one open manhole lol
There's just one small section of the road somewhere at Labo that collapsed due to a landslide. Overall the drive was pleasant. I enjoyed taking on the curves along the famed "bituka ng manok".

December 28th, 2017 09:43 PM #79Saan po ang may open manhole?
There are 3 landslides pavement caved-in nung dumaan ako-1 labo, 2 at tabugon near Andaya-Sta Elena intersection, and near Animal Quarantine check-point.
The stretch of Calaug to Lopez seems good with the widened road but I encountered hydroplaning after overtaking a starex, ayaw rumesponde ng manibela. Tried to apply some brake, vehicle still out of control just sliding. Buti derecho ang daan, i regained traction only after downshifting at pitik pitik ng clutch..
Be safe people lalo na pag basa ang kalsada.
