Hi, I'm planning to travel from Manila to Dumaguete via Eastern route. Bicol, Samar, and Leyte. as an option, I'm planning also to visit Davao via BUDA. Just in case Davao is cancelled. I will be driving all the way from Surigao to Dipolog. I'v done this before (Less Davao) with Pick Up last 2009 and 2011, So far ok naman ang daan at that time. Yung Allen to Calbayog lang lubak lubak (2009). Is the road condition doable by Sedan. Is anyone here also tried Bicol, Masbate, Cebu Route. Just want to try lang naman. Thanks.

Road condition is better now. You can use sedan. Be more concerned with going on and off the RORO ferry using a sedan.

Your reply is like a pie from the sky. Anyway, we will go on as planned. probably next week, will decide in Surigao if Davao or Negros. I hope someone here in Tsikot who is knowledgeable in Masbate/Cebu route can advise us the road/ferry condition. TIA.

Kawawa yung kotse mo bro kung sa East ka dadaan if you're only concerned in going to Dumaguete. It will take twice the travel distance and time.

If cebu-dumaguete route, catch the roro in santander, cebu which is the southern-most part in cebu (i think) that will bring you to sibulan port in negros oriental. Roro is less than 1 hour from last trip. I know that sementado na yung route ng sa cebu going to santander unless nag-rerepair sila ngayon. 3-4 hour trip ang biyahe from lapu-lapu to santander. Then 8:30 or 9:30 ata ang last trip going to sibulan port.

hi sir, bakit po. masama po ba ang daan. my concern po kasi is one of our itinerary is Davao then dumaguete. surigao is the deviation point in which kung tamarin kmi derecho n lng dumaguete.
