Also, Shang has 3 parking areas. The one facing EDSA is very easy and doesn't have long ramps. Then there's the new basement parking at the East Wing. Then there's that parking that people apparently dread, the one nearest to LSM. You can avoid it if you're really that scared. No need to go to Megamall just to park.

Kung babasahin tong thread na 'to parang mas nakakatakot pa sa roller coaster yung Shang parking, eh hindi naman.

Howdy. Sorry for digging this up. This is the only thread that discusses what I'm after in passing and I'm afraid I need further details.

Our team will be relocating to a new office near the Shangri-la area in a few weeks. Since I'm a bit OC, I research about parking options beforehand, hence, this post.

You mentioned there are three parking areas in the vicinity of Shangri-La Mall: the one facing EDSA, the new East Wing basement parking, and another one near LSM (what is LSM?). I arrive for work early, usually before 8am, as a side effect of living in the South and driving all the way from there every work day. This fact rules out the East Wing basement parking because that one opens at 10am, based on a video I saw on YouTube and the most recent reply on this thread.

Here's the question: where are the two parking areas located and how do I get there? Specifically, the one facing EDSA? I'll be coming from northbound EDSA. I know that after crossing the Shaw and EDSA intersection, I should take a right turn immediately. After that though, I have no idea.

If you'd be so kind as to provide specific instructions as though you're speaking to a 10 year old, that would be great If you have a dashcam video, even better. :D

    Thanks in advance.

From EDSA north (parking near Lourdes School of Mandaluyong - LSM):

You can also use google maps. Here's the entry of the parking spaces, you can use it as "direction to" coordinates:

    LSM - 14.58051521, 121.05605632
    EDSA side parking - 14.58221287, 121.05524629

Yehey! Thank you so much, sir. Quite frankly, I can't thank you enough. You are, so far, the only commenter who has ever answered my question about directions in the most straightforward way possible -- GPS coordinates. No need for follow up questions, yey!

    Thanks again, good sir

Finally got around to parking here at the Shangri-La Plaza's P1 Mall Parking earlier this morning.

This is the video from my car's dashcam of the entrance up to the Level 8 parking, which was the only one accessible.

And jut703 is right, it's not as scary as it seems. But then again, my car is a micro car so, that figures. :D I specially loved the sign that says "Stay in 1st Gear".

Dun kayo sa parking ng Shang sa side na malapit sa EDSA, yung basement or yung paakyat. Mas manageable. To hell with that steep parking building.

kasumpa sumpa ang main mall parking ng shangrila mall na yan. para kang pumasok sa horror ride hehe. pero like what the others said, basta cool lang sa pagpanik at turn. huwag magmadali. good luck and share us your parking experience there hehe.

mas madali nga dun sa edsa side kaso 5th (or 6th?) floor lang ang may access link to the mall. you need to take the elevators to go to that floor kung sa ibang level ka nagpark.
