December 29th, 2006 09:41 AM #42just coz they're in magazines and win in the car show doesn't mean they know how to repair cars. it means marunong sila mag porma ng auto. if you need repairs, bring it to a repair shop and try to know what you want to have done rin para di ka lang oo ng oo kapag inalok ka ng parts kahit hindi kailangan.

December 29th, 2006 09:17 PM #48Clarify ko lang. You mean Honda casa estimate does not include brake pads and water pump. Tama ba?
Also ask Migs if you can avail of his P1900 oil change promo using Motul. As I understand it includes 4 liters of oil, labor and oil filter. Should save you some money vs the 8100 X-cess oil plus filter.Last edited by userfriendly; December 29th, 2006 at 09:21 PM.

yes sir, not included brake pad and water pump, as per service advisor of honda casa just check first before the replacement, and after that if the pump with leak or tagas its time to replace din, yon ang problema kasi mapapamahal din ako doon, kasi 4,500 and cost ng pump what do you think sir, kasi nag babawas na water ko sa reserved tank wala naman ako makitang leak and ask ko din speedy fix regarding oil promo. thanks sa advise mga sir tsikoters

December 30th, 2006 09:13 AM #50Usual advise is to replace water pump with timing belt. Its to save money on labor, isang trabaho lang. Also for peace of mind, mahirap pagoverheat. For the brake pads, have them measure how much pad is left. They can measure it. If its around 25% remaining change it.
To save more money, you can buy the parts yourself. Don't think casa will let you do this.
With any shop be it Speedy or casa or someone else, tell them to inform you of the findings or what parts need to be repaired or replaced and let you decide before proceeding. This way you know whats done and how much it will cost.
probably not... yet, siguro. too many unknowns, yet. but if the manufacturer would offer it to...
