Hi Migs,

How about alternators...do you repair or replace alternators? I have a feeling something is wrong with my alternator already.

If so, how long does it take to do so? Saglit lang ba yun...maybe a few hours?

depends on the car. normally we have it serviced by a friends alternator shop. we'll need the car there muna though so we can check what is wrong and suggest kung palit or kaya pa ayusin.

Got the estimate from the casa and it's a whopping P79k! 65k goes to Fuel Pump recalibration. Ganun ba talaga kamahal? Kaya nyo ba gawin sa shop nyo?

bro, daan ako bukas sa shop niyo. around 10AM pag nagising ng maaga.

wala naman masyado sira. check up lang siguro plus a few minor issues with my car, City 2006:
1. change ATF. (daan muna ako Honda Shaw for the ATF)
2. wheezing/squeaking belt like sound ng aircon. don't know if bearing yung may prob although malamig pa din yung buga
3. metal scratching sound pag inclined yung daan at naka D or R then stepping on brakes. maririnig din yung sound pag iniikot yung steering wheel pag ganito. pero wala sound if naka N.
4. revving up (does not exceed 2krpm) while on Neutral, but not all the time.
5. replace park light.
6. check everything else.

Sir how much po bumili and palagay ng shocks for Honda City 1994? Do yo use original parts for that or do you have better alternative brand? Magkanu po estimate nyo for both front and lower arm?

Sir Migs,

I have a honda esi 93, may problem ako sa rpm kapag tirik ang araw halos mamatay yung engine minsan natutuluyan na mamatay yung engine. Sa gabi naman or kapag hindi mainit di naman masyadong nangyayari lalo na kung d ko gamit yung A/C smooth siya tumakbo.

me humming sound din alternator ko, nagpapalit na ko ng bearing pero bumalik yung sounds after a month, nung binabalik ko sa gumawa palitan ko na lng daw ng bagong alternator. nagpapalit din ba kayo ng bearing ng alternator?

huling tanong ko sir nagkakabit ba kayo ng grounding kit and available po ba sa shop nyo yung kit?
