Yes you can make it in 4 hours- Manila to Baguio- if you travel non stop and within speed limit of 100kph on the expressways and no lines at the toll booths of nelx, sctex, and tplex.
Just today, i left BGC at 930am, and reached Baguio at 330 with an hour and 10 minutes stop at Matutina for lunch, 15 minutes at Petron Lakeshore and 5 mins stop at Rosario for fuel refill and taking Marcos hiway going up.
So basically, it's give or take a few minutes and you can make it in 4 hours, but who doesn't want a good meals and some yosi break along the way. Unless, you are determined to prove something or otherwise.

I prefer EDSA or C5. Mas malapit ako sa SLEX side. Yung Roxas and Osmena iniiwasan ko yan. I never pass Nichols anymore coming from the South. Skyway na ko parati. Too much traffic in Magallanes.

This year I will take the route you and everyone else suggested (Urdaneta exit)
